Built Quality (9/10)
When you hold the case you will feel soft and sturdy built quality. There are no panel pressing or squeaking sounds, just like the hinges on the case. The lock and unlock mechanism is quite strong. The case closes with a satisfying click.
The magnetic connectors are so strong that the buds do not fall off even upside down. Just like the case, the buds are quite durable too. Even if you press the buds hard they do not make any squeaks or rattling noise.
So for built quality, BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC gets a 9/10.
Looks (9.5/10)
There’s no denying BoAt Airdopes 141ANC looks very premium in all colors. We liked it more in white though! The overall case design is matte while there’s a circular smile of glossy panel that you can see in the picture below
Just like that the buds are matte on the outside but glossy from the inside. If you buy the White or Grey color it will have the silver/chrome accents. While the Green one has, golden chrome strips on the buds & the case.
Another thing that takes the looks to the next level is the chrome strip in the front which holds the white LED light that we will tell about the battery charging status.
So in terms of looks, BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC is impressive hence, 9.5/10.
Comfort & Grip (9/10)
If you are looking for a comfortable TWS that you can wear for long hours, this is the one to get but there are a few things you should know.
To begin with, it’s designed for people with medium to large ears. if you have trouble wearing earphones with silicone tips then avoid it. Here are the best TWS options under 2000 Rs that we’ve owned and tested.
Generally speaking, you can wear these earbuds for 4+ hours. Transparency mode also helps in that. Learn more about it in the ANC section below.
As far as grip goes, you get three pairs of sizes small, medium, and large. Medium ear tips are already applied.
With the right adjustment, you will experience the best grip. If you are looking for workout-centric earbuds under 2000 Rs, this is the one to get!

Features (8/10)
#1 ANC & Transparency Mode: Under 2000 Rs, it offers 32 dB of Front Forward Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) which is not to be confused with ENC (Envorimantel Noise Cancellation).
Along with ANC, you will also get transparency mode. How well it works is explained in detail below in the ANC + Transparency section.
#2 Dual EQ Mode: There are 2 audio modes on BoAt Airdopes 141ANC. One is the default BoAt Signature Sound and the other is Normal Mode. Generally, earbuds do not offer any audio presents.
Sure, many of them come with app support and tuning can be made, but BOAt gave two audio presents. How well it works? It’s explained below in the audio quality section.
#3: Low Latency Mode: With BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC you can get a low latency mode of up to 50ms. It should be good for online multiplayer and lag-free Zoom meetings. We’ve been using it for 2 months now and here’s the real word testing for gaming.
#4: IWP Technology: This helps to speed up the pairing process. It’s quite fast actually. Once the Airdopes are paired to the device and that particular device comes in contact with the Airdopes they connect within 2 seconds. So, these will be connected before you even wear them!
#5 Big Battery: BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC packs in a 400 mAh power bank and each bud has 35 mAh capacity which should last about 5 to 7 hours on continuous use depending upon ANC. Total playback can be anywhere between 40 to 42 hours. Here’s more in the battery test section.
Audio Quality (8/10)
We’ve owned more than 20 BoAt Airdopes and we can confidently say most of them are good some are decent and a few are straight bad!
Where does BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC stacks up with 10mm drivers? Well, the Airdopes 141 ANC is somewhere between.
It’s good for non-Audiophile listeners who value vocals and instruments, mostly for regular music playback, podcasts, watching movies, or gaming.
Unlike some earbuds that come with App support BoAt has given 2 predefined sound profiles; Normal Mode and BoAt Signature Sound.
Normal mode can be switched to by pressing the left earbud for 4 seconds. It will be addressed with a “Normal Mode” prompt.
In this mode, the bass will be flat and vocals and instruments will take charge. It makes it good for gaming and while listening to podcasts or audiobooks.
Whereas, BoAt Signature Mode is by default activated. The bass takes charge, audio decibels move high, vocals become crisper, and the treble is detuned. It’s good to enjoy music be it any genre you groove on!
Since the earbuds go very loud, you will experience audio distortion beyond 80% volume so we’d advise staying around 70 to 80% to enjoy using these earbuds. It’s certainly not for audiophiles! Surprisingly, the Normal Mode offers no audio distortion even at max volume.
So for overall audio quality, BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC gets an 8/10.
ANC & Transparency Mode (8/10)
Before switching to BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC we had the BoAt Airdopes 413ANC (Review) OnePlus Nord Buds 2 (Under Testing). That comes with up to 25 dB Active Noise Cancellation.
While BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC Feed Forward ANC of up to 32 dB. So we know what to expect with ANC and transparency mode.
In case you are wondering, no Feed Forward ANC will magically disappear people or traffic around you but will significantly block the ambient noise.
Most of the constant low-end frequencies like air conditioners humming, clock ticking, vehicles around your office or house, machine noise from factories, PC/Laptop fan noise, and Ceiling fan noise, are taken care of.
Unfortunately, there will be no impact on the people talking next to you. For that, you will need to play music at 20 to 40% volume to see improvements.
When outdoors, you will notice more noise cancellation. if you travel by public transport like a bus, you will be surprised how silent it will go! Honking also goes down.
We are most impressed by the Ambient mode or transparency which works the opposite of the ANC! It allows ambient noise or distractions to creep in.
This helps to be better aware of the surroundings without removing the earbuds. if you are wondering, yes you can still play music or consume media without any problem.
Hence overall we would give BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC an 8/10.
Call Quality (8/10)
If you are looking for a tws earbud that helps you take care of the calls indoors or outdoors, you can consider the BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC.
With the ANC it blocks out a lot of ambient noise. We’ve taken many calls in public places, public transport, cafes, busy restaurants, etc we did not have any issues of audio breaking or the mic not picking up voice.
ANC also works on calls, it reduces the ambient noise, however, your voice will lose some quality because of that.
As a result, the person on the other call will not hear a crispy or original voice. Instead, it will be customized without or with a little ambient noise.
This audio quality is good for professional calls as the client prefers silence or fewer distractions. So for call quality, BoAt Airdopes 141ANC gets an 8 out of 10.
Battery Backup & Charging (9/10)
As per BoAt, the claimed figures are up to 42 hours of total playback. And for the buds without ANC, you can get up to 6 hours of battery backup & with ANC the battery backup will be around 5 hours. Anyways, what are the real-world figures?
We’ve been using BoAt Airdopes 141ANC for over 6 months with different testing patterns that gave different results.
To generalize, If you need a tws earbud that you can wear for long lectures and meetings then it’s the best one out there on the budget. It can last 5 to 7 hours of continuous use at any volume and ANC ON/OFF.
The earbuds with ANC all the time and max volume then you can expect around 4-5 hours of playback. This also includes calling. So for battery backup BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC will reduce battery anxiety for many people.
What about charging? Well, you get support for Quick charging as well as fast charging. The quick charge will help you boost your initial 10 mins of charging to crank up the earbuds and playback for around 1 hour.
With a fast charger, the case will charge in under 60 minutes! We did this with a 20-watt charger and certainly not recommended using anything more than that. So 1 hour of charging allows up to 42 hours of playback is impressive.
Hence, BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC gets a 9/10.
BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC Gaming Test (9/10)
Gaming via TWS earbuds has significantly improved in the past couple of years. No doubt the performance you will get with Airdopes 141 ANC is good and you will not face any lag or latency issues be it casual gaming or multi-player online shooters you will be good to go.
For that, triple tapping the left CTC button will activate the BEAST mode which will activate low latency mode.
Another interesting thing you will notice is with the Normal Audio Mode. It even enhances the overall gaming experience. You will easily be able to notice the enemy’s position with the footsteps.
Should You Buy BoAt Airdopes 141ANC?
For 1500 – 1800 Rs, there are many tws earbuds that you can buy. But the parameter collapses when you add factors like ANC, dual EQ mode, Low latency mode, etc. So for the price, BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC is a great buy! We can give you that.
In the last 2 months of testing, we liked the built quality. Certainly, unbeatable for the price. Similarly, looks are great too. The design of the buds is perfect for people with normal to large ears you can easily wear these for long hours. Even for workouts, 141 ANC is perfect.
The call quality is good too. You will have a decent experience be it indoors or outdoors. ANC also works during calls and it’s safe to say that noise cancellation works to restrict about 80% of contact frequencies.
As far as ANC goes, it’s good. Sure, we did not notice much difference between the 32dB of Airdopes 141 ANC or 28 dB with BoAt Airdopes 413 ANC but it’s good. However, the ambient mode or transparency mode works will impress you even better. It’s amazing for the price.
The battery backup and charging are on point too. You will be rocking for more than 35 hours of overall playback. With fast charging, the case gets charged in under 1 hour with a 20-watt charger.
The 10mm audio drivers do a decent job of keeping vocals and treble in focus while the Bass is average. With BoAt Signature Sound you will have a little boost in bass but calling it a bass-centric earbud will be wrong.
Just make sure you don’t stay at max volume for long as the buds go very loud and audio distortion is present beyond 80% volume.
