BoAt Airdopes 141 is a successor of the highly popular BoAt Airdopes 131. We’ve owned 131 and can confidently say that 141 is a great upgrade overall. It’s got touch controls on both earbuds, too.

The silicone tips of the earbuds offer a snug fit so you can use these for jogging, walking, or even running. For the best grip, BoAt includes two additional pairs of tips for better grip and comfort.

The 8mm audio drivers on each earbud produce great-quality music. Be it vocals, instruments, or even bass, the earbuds maintain the detail with a great level of loudness. If you like thumping bass, then you can go with these.

Why Should You Avoid BoAt Airdopes 141?

You should avoid these if you are looking for a tiny solution. The earbuds also have a decent weight to them. Secondly, the carry cum charge case is quite big. On the go, the carry case will bulge out of your pants!

If you have small ears, you should avoid getting these. Instead, BoAt Atom 81 or the BoAt Airdopes 81 Pro are for you.

Though there are 3 levels of ear tips, the design is a little thicker; as a result, it can have comfort issues. Other than that, it’s an almost perfect TWS from BoAt.

Another reason to avoid the BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC is the bass. It’s decent but not heavy. If you like heavy bass, then BoAt Airdopes 170, BoAt Airdopes 141, or the BoAt Airdopes 91 and BoAt Airdopes 800 are better.

Why Does BoAt Airdopes 91 Make Sense?

If you want to experience the hype of BoAt, you’ll need to buy a product on which BoAt has worked hard, and that’s the BoAt Airdopes 90. Why am I saying this? Well, it’s under 1000 Rs (which is a tough price to crack) with features and quality.

The built quality of the case is good, and the case offers satisfying click noise, unbelievable under 1000 Rs. The design of the case and the buds is quite impressive. People ask which variant of BoAt Airdopes it is (It happened in the Delhi Metro).

3 Amazing color options make it desirable. Overall, the Grey color is perfect.

The fit and finish of the earbuds are perfect for medium to large ears. You can move freely, or even run without dropping these at all! On top of it, the audio quality is great. Sure, it’s not bass-heavy, but it does not distort any audio at any level of loudness.

Gaming performance is also good. We did not encounter any major latency during the playback of HD content or multiplayer games.

Under 1000 Rs, it is the best BoAt Airdopes that you should pick up. The only letdown we had was with outdoor calling. Otherwise, it’s a bang-on product.

Why Does it Make Sense?

BoAt Airdopes 121v2 is a very compact and small form factor TWS earphone. The silicone ear tips make a good seal, and the earbuds don’t fall off that easily. So, for casual walking or running, they will be good.

Don’t think that, due to the small size, they might not sound good! But the 8mm audio drivers deliver loud and distortion-free audio quality. The BoAt sound signature, which is heavy bass, clear vocals, and decent treble, is also present on 121v2.

Even though the carry case is small, it can charge your earbuds from 0 to 100 about 3 times. While we are at it, the buds themselves can go as long as 5 hours on a single charge.

Why Should You Ignore It?

Since it’s from 2020, there are 3 letdowns.

The call quality is just average. It is because of a single microphone on earbuds. It tends to capture more of the background noise while being outdoors.

The second reason is the lack of low low-latency mode. As a result, the gaming performance is not good either. Another reason is the lack of fast charging.

Just like BoAt Airdopes 121v2, this one also comes with an LED display of the case battery status every time you open it. This helps to know when to put it to charge. It’s better than the single Dot LED that BoAT has opted for lately.

Secondly, the form factor has changed from wide to tall which helps to prevent bulge in the pocket. The buds also feel slim and the overall profile is compact making it suitable for everybody.

You will like the built quality of these. No rough edges or plastic are squeaking anywhere on the case or even the buds. Along with that, the design is unique and looks good for everyday use.

Unlike 121v2, this one offers the best call quality under 1500 Rs. The quad mic setup does a great job of focusing on your voice, be it outdoors or indoors. The vocals have bass and depth to your voice and ultimately it is more clear. Big thumbs up for the call quality.

The 10mm drivers do a great job of delivering vocals and instrument separation without distorting any audio. I prefer watching movies with these. It makes the dialog sound better. Even the Bluetooth range is great. You will not experience audio breaking even 5 meters away from the paired device.

if you are a bass head, this is not for you. You can check out BoAt Airdopes 141 or the BoAt Airdopes 170. Otherwise, it’s a great deal for 1200 Rs.

It’s a new addition to our 7 best BoAt Airdopes list. Why? because the 13mm drivers are truly a powerhouse. Unlike BoAt Airdopes 161, both the earbuds on BoAt Airdopes 170 are synced and you can experience similar output.

The low-end frequencies are so well-tuned that you can feel them in detail at any volume. another good thing is the loudness. It’s as loud as 161 however do not lose quality at max volume. So you get distortion-free audio quality.

The 13mm drivers are well-tuned. It has a bass-heavy sound signature that does not overcome the vocals, instruments, and even treble. We were not expecting such quality at this price.

Hence for bass lovers, BoAt Airdopes 170 gets our approval.

There are no major negatives in my opinion. I’ve spent 3 months with it and there was not a single instance where it lacked luster.

Sure it misses out on features like Dual Bluetooth Connectivity and App Support for the price it should not affect it.
