Built Quality
Being from the budget category, both headphones are made of plastic. But, the plastic used is quite strong. Infinity took the build a little more seriously and offered High Tensile PP martial which is the toughest form of plastic. In day-to-day life, you will not find any panel squeaks or cheap feeling while using the headphones.

In terms of looks and color options, one is a clear winner and that’s BoAt Rockerz 450. It’s available in 11 colors including the Marvel and DC Comics themed designs. That’s a nice way to be popular among fans to put them on the bucket list!
Whereas, Infinity Tranz 710 comes in either Black or Blue. Although the color options are limited, Tranz 710 looks more “blend-in”. Whereas, Rockerz 450 has a “stand-out” design. Since color is a personal choice we think both look good.
In terms of design, both headphones have a different approach. BoAt offers a Silver logo on both ear cups, while Infinity has gone with the Gold logo. BoAt went a little more into work and added a silver circular around the logo which makes it look more premium.

A Headphone becomes good when it’s comfortable to wear. There are many factors to determine comfort like the padding material, the headband’s clamping force, and the overall size of the headphone. So where do both the headphones stack up?
Well, both headphones are “on-ear type” and the form factor is compact. This means they will rest “on your ear” instead of “around your ear”. Thanks to the design, a teenager or even a 60-year-old person can wear these headphones with ease.
Though the size is small, you will not be able to wear it on a headgear like a proper turban. A winter cap is fine though.

Because there are many factors. First, the ear cup padding is softer, under headband padding is thick and soft, and the clamping force of the headband is quite firm; but more comfort-oriented instead of being workout-centric.

BoAt Rockerz 450 comes with 40mm audio drivers while Infinity Tranz 710 offers 36mm drivers. So which one is better? The bigger the better. Well, No! Things are different at least, in audio drivers. The size does not play much role. Instead, the quality of the driver is at play here.
After spending a good few months with these, we can say it’s the Infinity Trandz 710 sounds better overall. Whereas, BoAt Rockerz 450 is more bass-heavy. As far as quality goes, Tranz 710 even at max volume does not distort any audio or vocals. While Rockerz 450 does lose some quality at full volume.

Both BoAt Rockerz 450 and Infinity Tranz 710 offer good microphone quality. You can take calls or even record audio for your next video project. There’s no static disturbance or voice breaking that we experienced.
However, you should also know that both headphones do not offer any ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation). This means if you have noise in your surroundings it will pass on just like it is. So you have to be in a quiet spot to take a call.

Well, clearly in terms of battery backup, the Infinity Tranz 710 is many folds ahead of the BoAt Rockerz 450.
if you like to enjoy music at max volume all the time with the Deep Bass Mode then you can expect around 50 to 60 hours. Staying around 80% volume can bring you close to the claim figures without making any tweaks.
We move past the claim figures by staying around 50% to 60% volume. Infinity Tranz 710 is a powerhouse in terms of battery backup.
Whereas. BoAt Rockerz 450 is capable enough to power up to 12 hours of juice on max volume. If you use headphones for about 2 hours a day at any volume then you will only require charge once a week. This is quite good.
Sure, next to Tranz 710, the Rockerz 450 seems weak but it has one special feature up its sleeve and that’s support for aux mode. You can simply plug the headphones into your tablet, smartphone, or even laptop/PC and use them as a wired headphone while preserving battery for later use.

Gaming Performance
Do you plan on playing games using a headphone? Then these two are just decent options. if you play regular games like Clash of Clans, Clash Royals, Asphalt 9, etc you will be fine with both of these.
In fact, fast-paced multiplayer games are just okay. Because there will be latency of about a second but that’s quite normal for headphones that are not dedicated for gaming.
But, if you are intent on doing decent gaming, then We’d recommend going with BoAt Rockerz 450 over Infinity Tranz 710. Because of the aux-in. Wired mode does make some differences. Whereas, on Tranz 710 your only shot to play games is via Bluetooth mode.
Hence for gaming, both are good, but our personal choice here is the BoAt Rockerz 450 only because of the Aux-in mode. Gaming on both of these with Bluetooth is just average. Instead, go with a wired headphone or dedicated gaming headphone if you plan to do serious gaming.

It is a newly launched on-ear headphones that uses the same audio signature as the earlier Infinity Glide 510 headphones so the audio quality is phenomenal; Great bass, crisp vocals, and an overall balanced audio signature. Along with audio quality, it also provides similar call quality which makes it the best wireless headphone for calling.
if you travel with a headphone then you would appreciate Infinity Tranz 710 more than anything. The headphone folds in and the ear cups are totally tiltable making it more convenient to carry on your neck or in the bag pack. Moreover, the headphone is very lightweight as well. So it tick marks all the needs for a travel-friendly headphone.
Let’s talk about some cons, infinity Tranz 710 is a workout-centric headphone which means the clamping force is on the higher side so it will be perfect for your evening walks or gym sessions. However, will not be a comfortable headphone for long hours of use.
The second con is the lack of aux-in mode. Because of this, you will experience more latency while gaming, and also you will not be able to connect with a device “wired-ly”. The latter point might not be an issue as the claimed and tested battery backup is more than 50 hours!
Since the headphone comes with a Micro USB charging socket it does not support fast charging. Which means the charging time will be around 3 hours. Keep in mind the battery backup, it’s not a deal breaker either.
BoAt Rockerz 450
Rockerz 450 is not a new model. It’s from 2019. But in between BoAt went through a few changes like the Logo and many things were changed. With that change, a 3.5mm audio cable also started coming in the box.
BoAt Rockerz 450 offers 40mm drivers that produce heavy bass as well as clean vocals. if bass excites you, then it’s a better headphone over Infinity Tranz 710. Another solid point in favor of Rockerz 450 is the overall loudness. It feels about 30% louder than Tranz 710. Just like the audio quality, call quality is quite good. There are no static or network drops that we experienced.
if you travel a lot with a headphone then you need one that can take some beating as well. Rockerz 450 is like that. The build of the headphone is very good. Though there are no metal elements everything feels durable. For travelers, the headphones can fold inwards and can be kept in a backpack.
Let’s talk about some cons now! BoAt Rockerz 450 (just like Infinity Tranz 710) comes with a Micro USB Slot which means there’s no provision for fast charging. As a result, both headphones will charge under 3 hours.
On this headphone, BoAt’s focus was totally on bass, and they managed to crank it up to the max that the instruments/treble took a negative effect. Though vocals stay fine at max volume, it’s the treble that is borderline. Another thing to note is the overall quality. Next to the Infinity Tranz 710, the Rockerz 450 lacks quality in the top end but otherwise, it’s quite good.
