This Realme Buds T500 Pro review is very special because 3 months ago, we bought the Realme Buds T310 (our review) and both just have a few hundread Rs difference.

- Good color options
- Black/Blue comes with letheriite texture
- In-ear detection works well
- Great audio quality
- Good Noise Cancellation + Transparency
- Good battery backup
- Realme Connect app for more control
CONS

- Spatial audio is not that great
Realme Buds T500 Pro Built Quality (5/5)

In one word, very good! The case feels strong, and there are no flimsy panels or hollowness observed.
The hinges are very strong and can be operated with just one finger.
The magnets that hold the earbuds are very strong and when upside down the buds do not fall off.
Hence 5/.5 for case build quality. It gives good confidence and can be used for years to come!
Similarly, the buds are rock solid and have no sharp edges or flimsy panels when pressed. Even if you press the buds, they do not squeak.
There’s also a good-quality lanyard cable provided, which is quite durable and good-looking too!
Hence, for build, both buds and case gets 5/5.
Looks (4.5/5)

Realme T500 Pro does not resemble to any other earbuds case, not even their other models! It’s wider and shorter than most earbuds in this price segment.
I quite like the design. Especially the color I went with. This is Black/Blue color that has vegan leather texture that feels much better than plastic.
And the lanyard does take the combination game to the next level.
Realme Buds T500 Pro comes in three colors: Lemon Cola, which is yellow/yellow, Cholocalte, which is black/blue, and Orange Mint, which is grey/orange.
The overall case is matte, and on the back we have the Hi-Res Audio and LHDC branding.
On the side, you can mount a lanyard, which is color-coded and really helps to keep the earbuds on your wrist or hanging inside your bag.
The buds, on the other hand, are all glossy without any sign of matte or Realme branding. Not even left-right markings on the earbuds.
The buds are very different too. They have a slightly thicker stem, while the T310 has a circular one. Similarly, the outer part is flat on the T500 Pro, while the T310 stays circular.
Since I am not a fan of glossy earbuds, I would give the Realme T500 Pro 4.5/5. Rest, I would your opinion about the color combination? Do drop a comment below!
Comfort (4.5/5) & Grip (5/5)

Realme Buds T500 Pro is ideal for medium to large ears; you can make changes to the ear tips as two additional pairs are provided in the box.
The earbuds are soft and have no rough edges or even thin plastic joining lines, certainly quite premium.
You can wear these for 6+ hours in a single go [as I did for testing] or as per your needs. Thanks to the transparency mode, it gives more breathing room. Hence, for comfort, I would give it 4.5/5.
For grip, I would like to tell you that these are approved for the gym, sports, or workouts.
These buds do not fall out in any [possible] situation like walking, jogging, running, weight training, or pacing to catch the Metro!
With sweat, the buds get a little loose, and they do require re-adjustment. This is quite common with earbuds; hence, no complaints in this department. But it offers a better grip than the Realme Buds T310.
So, for comfort, Realme Buds T500 Pro gets 4.5/5 and 5/5 for grip.
Realme Buds T500 Pro Review- Features
#1 3 Bluetooth Device Pairing: Yes, you can pair 3 devices with auto-switch, which makes the experience quite seamless. The earbuds understand the current need and make a switch.
#2 Up to 50dB Noise Cancellation: The output is quite good, be it indoors or outdoors. Additionally, you have the transparency mode, which helps you be more aware of your surroundings. Here’s more about Noise Cancellation.
#3 12.4 mm audio drivers: Realme has gone with the said drivers with 3D Spatial audio. At PadhkeDekho, we “test” instead of “relying” to judge audio gear. Here’s our audio breakup.
#4 Bluetooth 6.1: Realme Buds T500 Pro comes with the latest Bluetooth version, which helps with better connectivity and quick pairing. We did not notice any audio delay or distortion while being more than 6 metres away from the connected devices, even on different floors.
#5 45ms Low Latency: For the gamers out there or people who prefer low latency, here’s some good news for you. Realme Buds T500 Pro has up to 45ms low latency, and it really works very well. Here’s the gaming test.
#6 LHDC exception vs reality: Realme Buds T500 Pro comes with an LHDC codec, which is a premium audio codecs they can activate a side of music that is hard to experience with regular audio gear. Here’s the Audio Quality.
#7 Up to 56 Hours Battery Backup: With so many battery-demanding features and audio drivers, Realme Buds T500 Pro claims up to 56 hours of overall battery backup. Which is very good, to be honest! Here’s more about it in the battery section.
Audio Quality (4.5/5)

I still own the Realme Buds T310 (Our Review), which is a few hundred rupees cheaper than these. So, are these better? Yes, there are a few changes!
Just like T310, T500 Pro is also very loud and bass-centric! So, these are surely for bass-heads! The overall sound signature is sweet. Vocals, trebles, and instrument separation are quite well done.
With the Realme Link app, you can switch between the EQs or create one as you like. Then there’s Spatial audio, dynamic audio, and even LHDC codec support.
Is the Realme Buds T500 Pro better than the Realme Buds T310?
Yes, the details on the T500 Pro really take things to the next level, and there’s no denying it. On the other hand, I really enjoy the Spatial audio on the T310 over the T500 Pro.
And if your primary device is an iPhone, then the Realme Buds T310 and Realme Buds T500 Pro are very similar. So, you can save some money and get the T310 and experience better Spatial audio.
But with an Android phone, you can take advantage of the LHDC codec, and the output becomes blissful! So much detail that the Spatial output of T310 feels weak!
The point is, iPhones do not natively support LHDC codes; hence, you cannot experience the better codec compatibility of the T500 Pro.
This does not mean it’s bad or anything. It’s still among the best-sounding earbuds under Rs. 3000.
The sound signature of the T500 Pro is strong, and the audio has depth to it, which becomes more lively.
Hence, the T500 Pro is really an upgrade from the Realme Buds T310. I would give 4.5/5 to the Realme Buds T500 Pro and 4/5 to the Realme Buds T310.
Noise Cancellation (4/5) + Transparency (5/5)
So let’s talk about Noise Cancellation and transparency on offer with the Realme Buds T500 Pro.
As per the brand, the Realme Buds T500 Pro claims up to 50dB Noise Cancellation, and both earbuds have three mics each. Let’s test it out!
We’ve divided the noise cancellation into 3 parts. Good, decent, and average.
And you should also note that the Realme T500 Pro has Adaptive Noise Cancellation, which is also known as Hybrid Noise Cancellation.
Good: If you are on a train, flight, or roadway bus where vehicular engine noise is high, these earbuds perform the best. It goes very silent, and the difference is immediate. While indoors, it can cut out wind noise, AC humming, or cooler fan noise.
Decent: It can help cut out loud music being played in your close proximity, like news on television or someone watching a movie on speaker, etc or even utensils getting washed. You can say these can cut out about 50% of the ambient noise.
Average: It does not bring any major change if people are chatting near you or when you are in a restaurant. The voice notes stay almost the same. But it can cut out the wind noise, AC humming, or cooler fan noise.
So, Noise Cancellation works quite well, and on a scale of 5, we would give it 4/5.
As far as Transparency mode goes, it’s even better than the Realme Buds T310. The three mics on each earbud do make a lot of difference.
When you are outdoors and want to be aware of your surroundings while listening to music, prefer Transparency mode over Noise Cancellation; it truly saves lives, guys.
So, for transparency, we would give these 5/5.
Mic Test (4.5/5)
Realme Buds T500 Pro comes with 3 mics on each earbud, making it 6 mics for calls or content creation. So what can you expect in terms of mics for videos or general/work calls?
Well, the mics really do a great job for the price under 3000 Rs. We were really impressed with the Realme Buds T310 (our review), and this takes the calls to the next level.
What makes the calls better? It’s the depth and ambient noise control, also known as environmental noise cancellation.
So if you outdoor or indoors, your ambient noise will be filtered out. You can say about 50 to 70%.
Other than that, the audio or your voice will sound a little more edited, as the ENC (environmental noise cancellation) is done very heavily.
So your voice will have more bass than treble.
The mics cut out the wind noise quite well. So, if you are stuck in bad weather or sitting next to a fan or water cooler, the wind noise will not be transferred during the call or in your mic recordings.
So, on a scale of 5, Realme Buds T500 Pro gets a 4.5/5 for calling.
Realme Buds T500 Pro Review – Gaming Experience (4.5/5)
The latency is claimed to be up to 45ms, which is similar to the Realme T310 on paper.
In real situations, both perform similarly. The delay is marginal, and the left-right balance is very nicely done.
Since the Realme Buds T500 Pro has better Bluetooth drivers, it feels a bit smoother and has better latency control. This does help with slightly enhanced gaming output.
We have tested games like Crash Royal, NFS No Limit, and COD Mobile. The phones used are the Moto G96, iPhone 13, and iPhone 17.
What takes the gaming experience to the next level is the Spatial audio, which creates a 360-degree audio field that will let you have an immersive experience.
And then there’s Dynamic Audio that lets you tune to the sound profile as a result of a more seamless experience.
So for gaming, the Realme Buds T500 Pro is very good. Hence 4.5/5.
Battery Backup (5/5)
Realme Buds T500 Pro comes with so many features like battery-draining noise cancellation, 3 active device Bluetooth Pairing, LHDC high-demand audio codecs, and so much more.
With all that, the brand claims to offer up to 56 hours of overall playback, and over the last two months, we have a lot to talk about.
Let’s talk about an extreme use case. If you crank the volume, keep 3 Bluetooth devices. Take calls, keep the Noise Cancellation on Max mode, LHDC codecs enabled, and gaming mode; even then, you can get 5+ hours on a single go.
With that use case, you can easily hit more than a week’s battery backup. Which is very good. Much better than the Realme Buds T310. Which goes for 4 to 5 days tops.
During moderate and sensible use of noise cancellation or LHDC Codecs, you can get battery backup for about 1.5 weeks.
I did hit about 8+ hours of battery backup while completing DareDevil Born Again Season 2! Very impressive battery backup; no complaints there.
As for charging goes, you can expect anywhere between 1 and 2 hours to reach 100% battery. When the case is 100% charged, it shows a green light, and when it is flashing green, it means it is charging.
When the case goes red, it means it needs charging. Within 10 mins, it will start blinking green; that means the buds have sufficient charge to be used for 3+ hours. So, do not think it charges 100% in under 10 mins!
Also, no charging cable is provided in the box.
So, to sum up battery backup and charging, we would give these 5/5 as this is the highest we have ever received from a TWS earbud with so many features!
