  5. Earbuds.

Overall, unboxing experience is decent and for the price it is good.

Built Quality (5/5)

Boult K10 Built
Boult K10 Built

In one word; exceptional. You can take these earbuds worthy of 1500-2000 Rs. The case is strong with no squeaking, panel pressing or loose cap. Boult or Goboult has done a good job here.

As far as the hinges and magnetic connectors, the cap feels very light like there’s no magnet at all. But when it about to close it closes with a click sound and then you have to pull it tight and then immediately it is lightweight. Nice mechanism.

The magnetic connectors on the case and buds are legit. Even upside down, the buds do not fall and even if you shake the buds stay inside the case.

The buds are also have good built quality with no rough edges or hallow plastics. Hence for the price, the built quality is exceptional and we would give it 5/5.

Looks (4.5/5)

Best looks Earbuds under 1000 Rs
Best looks Earbuds under 1000 Rs

If you are a fan of matte design then you would love these! Compact and matte. Boult has given this color Blue Ice name and it is very beautiful. The combination of Light Blue and White is very good.

On the top you have Boult branding which doesn’t look bad! The newer models have the Goboult logo which adds the new element to the visual treatment.

Below the cap, there’s a tiny LED light which reminds a lot like the Soundcore R50i (Review)! And on the back, is the charging port which is USB-c AKA Type-C. Inside the case, is the reset button, which comes quite handy.

When you want to just reset it if something is not working right. You would need to press the button for 3 seconds to let it do the magic.

As for buds you a tiny stem which is consistant all around. Both buds have Boult or Goboult branding as well and Blue ear tips. Very neat.

Along with the that, the inside of the case is also Light Blue as we opted for the Blue Ice color. TBH, Grey also looks good.

Hence, for looks, it’s easily 4.5/5 as per my liking.

Boult K10 Review = Comfort + Grip (4.5/5)

How comfortable are Boult Earbuds
How comfortable are Boult Earbuds

If you are looking for earbuds that you can wear for long hours then this is the one to buy. The design of earbuds means business. I wore these for more than 4 hours in a stretch and these did not disappoint.

Sure, it will cause sweat if you are in humid atmosphere. The buds are big hence are ideal for medium to large ears. So will these fit you? Answer one question.

Can you wear earbuds with silicone ear tips? If yes, then go for these. Otherwise, half in-ear earbuds or over-ear headphones are the one for you.

As for grip, Boult K10 has been great. I do gym and cardio workouts and these earbuds never fall even with sweat. Yes, these did got loose but that’s pretty much common with earbuds.

In the box, 2 additional pair of ear tips that you can test and use the one which suits you better. Hence, for comfort and grip, Boult Cyborg are good and you can confidently buy these for leisure or workouts.

Hence 4.5/5 for comfort and grip.

Boult Cyborg Features (4/5)

Features of Goboult K10
Features of Goboult K10

Boult has offered quite an extensive and practical features too. To begin with Boult K10 comes with Bluetooth 5.4 which is the latest for consumer tech. This helps to cut the latency and frequent disconnect issue.

If you are holding a latest smartphone then it must be having Bluetooth 5.4. So, Boult has thought to give you the best experience.

In this list of earbuds with volume control under 1500 Rs, this one is a new addition. You can control the volume by triple pressing the right earbud to increase the volume. And triple pressing the left earbud to low the volume.

Boult K10 comes with 10mm audio drivers which are pretty standard in this price range. The drivers are known to be using Boom X Tech Drivers. What matters is the quality and we did it and here are the sound quality results.

Boult also have app support which is free on Android as well as iOS. Through which you can customize the EQ, customize the controls and so much more. Unfortunately, Boult K10 are not compatible with the same.

In terms of battery, Boult claims up to 50 hours of overall playback. Which to be honest, is even more than the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 which is almost double the price (talking about the sale price). We did our testing and here are the battery results.

On thing which is certainly not available in this price range is quad mic setup (dual mic on each earbud). This means the mic quality should be good. How is it? Here’s mic output.

For the gamers, Boult has offer low latency up to 45ms which is also a bold claim as buds double the price are near 80ms. Here’s the gaming review breakup.

So to sum up features, Boult have not any stone unturned and we would give these 4/5. Good job!

Boult Sound Quality (4.5/5)

Boult K10 sound quality
Boult K10 sound quality

It’s truly an underdog. Let me explain. To begin with, Boult has given 10mm drivers which are quite common in this price range. But the sheer quality of the driver is amazing. I am a bass-head and this one is meeting my expectations.

The bass is so punchy you can feel it. Just tune any Sidhu Moose Wala or Karan Aujla and you are fixed!

Next, vocals. In this department also, it nails it. The vocals are neat and you can test the audio drivers by playing any Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan from the playlist or even a live performance.

Now, let’s talk about the instruments separation and trebles and these two are well done. Some earbuds are bass heavy but they detune the trebles and the instruments are weak. Boult has done a good job here.

There are very few earbuds that offer good bass, vocals and trebles along with distortion free overall experience even at max volume, and this is certainly capable to be on the list.

Only one thing that you will feel is a little lesser volume. And that’s only felt if you are coming from BoAt Airdopes. Rest, Boult has done a great job and we would give it 4.5/5.

Boult K10 Review – Mic Test (4/5)

So, Boult has given dual mic on each earbud making it quad-mic setup for crystal clear calling. Along with that, there ENC & AI technology known as Zen Quad Mic to reduce the ambient noise.

We did the test. Took calls indoors, outdoors, in public transport, in restaurants and on the streets, etc. and here are the results.

Indoor be it on the terrace or just indoors with household chores, the buds provide good call quality. Your vocals will sound real with very little audio modifications.

If you prefer unedited vocals then this is very good. The AI does help to filter out the fan noise. However, rest of the things stay the same.

Outdoors be it in public transport, restaurant, the feedback stays the same. Good vocals. The mic tends to capture your voice and some filtration is present.

Even inside Delhi Metro my calls were quite good and all the callers liked my mic quality (Yes, I ask them about the feedback!)

Now, things you should know. It can filter out little disturbances like fan noise but outdoors, it will just like the “real thing” and almost everything is transferred. So don’t have high expectations of complete silence during calls, etc.

But one thing is good, which is in Metro there are people very close to you and the mics will pick your voice above those travelers.

So, for mic and call performance, I would give these 4/5.

Battery Backup & Charging (4.5/5)

Boult K10 Battery
Boult K10 Battery

Boult has claimed about 55 hours of total playback and we did our testing and 1 month is enough to test multiple use case scenarios.

One thing which is missing throughout the listing as well as the product description is the battery capacity of the buds as well as the case. So how much can you expect from these? Let’s talk about that.

Boult K10 is a power house and is ideal for someone who craves high battery backup. During our testing, it surpassed many earbuds of its category, even 2 times more expansive than these.

As for numbers, here are some figures.

If your daily use is below 2 hours a day, then forgot the need to charge these! Even on max volume! For a casual listener, Boult K10 can easily be used for 2 weeks or even more.

[Under extreme Use] You can go continuously for 5 hours and you will be left with 40% battery and just 10 mins in the case pumps the earbuds back to 100%. Draining the buds all the way to zero will take at least a week. This also includes gaming and media consumption!

[Moderate Use] If you go easy on the ears at under 80% volume, you can go for a more than a week without the charger! It just sips battery. In terms of day, the maximum I’ve gone without the charging was 11 days!

So to sum up battery backup, you can confidently opt these if battery backup is somewhere in your brain. You will be relieved.

To charge Boult K10, brand has clearly mentioned 5 watt 1 amp charger must be used. We did not have it. The least we can do is 5 watt 2 amps or 10 watts. With that charger the case with less than 10% battery took around 2 hours to charge.

While the buds with just 10 mins of charge can go for an hour. So that you don’t have to wait for longer. To be honest, in 2025, 2 hours for charging seems long but you should also know that the claimed figures are near 55 hours.

Which results in good battery backup for 2 hours charging. Hence, to sum up battery backup and charging, you will be good to go for weeks with this! Very strong battery backup. Hence 4.5/5.

Boult K10 Review – Gaming (4/5)

If you are purely buying it for gaming then you can consider these. I have tested most of the modern games like BGMI, COD Mobile on mobile and CS GO on PC/MAC, etc and these did not disappoint even without enabling the low latency mode.

With it turned on, nothing major happens. Yes, it gets a little noticeable but nothing much to brag upon. You will get good idea of enemy position and footsteps without any issue. As far as latency go, I did not experience anything major to concern about.

Note: The devices I used here are Moto Edge 40, iPhone 13, iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. So these were my results, your’s can differ based on the smartphone’s capabilities as well as the Bluetooth version.

So to sum up gaming, you can play normal to high intensity games without any major issue. During my 1 month of testing there were hardly any lag or stutters. Hence 4/5 for gaming.

Should You Buy Boult K10 or Boult Cyborg?

BoultK10Review Underdog

If you are looking for a good audio solution, this is the one to buy under 1000 Rs. Only thing, I can bring near is the BoAt Airdrops 141 (Review) or the Soundcore R50I (Review). Be it vocals, instruments or even thumping bass, you get all of that here.

Another thing to enjoy with these earbuds is the calling or mic for video editing. Real vocals and less AI tuning. The end results have depth as well as clarity.

Another thing to like is the less distractions. The earbuds don’t have a turn on notification. The regular pairing and connection is there.

The pairing process takes about 8 seconds to connect with the last connected device or a fresh one. Which feels a little slow compared to BoAt Airdrops with Insta Wake N Pair technology. None the less, not a major thing, but you should know.

Other than that is the ENC performance. If you are looking for heavily tuned voice during calls then this not the one for you. It’s more with natural and real vocals with a little blocking of ambient noise.

With that massive battery backup, I am more than convinced that Boult K10 is a truly designed to tick mark most of the needs of daily music needs.

Hence, to sum up, Boult K10 review, it gets a big recommendation and really makes it a worthy purchase on a budget.

Wrapping up!

That’s about it, folks! This is Boult K10 Review or Boult Cyborg review after 1 month of testing. If you have any questions or issues, let me know on the social accounts below. I would try my best to help you.

It’s been over a year with Airdopes 141. And to be honest, it’s by far the best TWS under 1500 Rs. But, recently BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC was launched (Review) and even then we recommend Airdopes 141! Why? Here’s BoAt Airdopes 141 review to answer the question. If you are new at PadhKeDekho, We buy tech products and use them for at least a month before sharing the review or comparison. By doing this, readers like you get a true picture that ultimately helps them make a better-informed decision. As a support to us, you can buy this product using the Amazon links on this page. It helps us buy more products and share real reviews instead of marketing BS! In this BoAt Airdopes 141 English review, you will find about the Pros and Cons, Box Contents, Built Quality, Looks, Comfort, Features, Audio Quality, Gaming Experience, Mic Quality, Battery Backup, and our Verdict on whether you should buy this or our other recommendations. Let’s kick things off with the pros and cons. BoAt Airdopes 141 Pros & Cons Box Contents In the tiny box, you’ll get many things. Let’s start from left to right. If you have been using a half-ear design TWS then the silicon tips will be a new thing. Rest, all the Airdopes launched after 2022 come with these contents (excluding ear tips if half-ear design TWS is bought). Inbox Contents: 5/5 Built Quality We’ve tested many BoAt Airdopes and some had weak hinges. The ones above 2000 Rs had great built overall. BoAt worked upon and BoAt Airdopes 141 is a fine example. On sale, you can grab this for just 999 making it a banger at that price. Even at 1500 (non-sale price) it is good for the build it offers. The case is not flimsy which means no squeaking while pressing. The magnetic connectors on the lip are quite impressive. With a little push, the lip opens and then shuts with a satisfying click. This click ensures good-quality hinges and more capable magnetic connectors. On the same note, the earbuds offer fine-built quality while being lightweight compared to other brands’ TWS for similar prices which is good for people who demand comfort. Here’s more about that in the comfort section below. So the buds are the best in terms of the build? No, they are not the best but surely not the bad either. Next to the carry case, they feel weak. Maybe because of the lightweight? On the subject of built quality, the cable provided is good too. It has BoAt branding. It’s great they did not pack any random cable from the market and called it a day. So in terms of built quality BoAt Airdopes 141 gets an 8.5/10. Looks In terms of looks, BoAt Airdopes 141 has a matte design language. We picked up the white color and it looks fabulous. Be it the case or the earbuds themselves. The case has a square design which helps to keep the case the way you like it! On the front, you have four LEDs for the current battery status of the carry case along with the BoAt branding. Then you have nothing, except the USB C charging port on the bottom. Therefore, in terms of case design, it’s simple and offers no visible branding which is perfect; Just a BoAt Logo above the battery LEDs. In the same way, you have earbuds with a BoAt logo and fingerprint impressions to let you know it offers touch controls rather than a physical button. The ear tips silicon will be Grey, Cyan Cider, or Black depending upon the case color you will buy. BoAt Airdopes 141 best color? It looks great in all colors but Black or White outshines! You can even customize it by purchasing skins! So in terms of looks, BoAt Airdopes 141 is a simple yet premium-looking TWS under 1500 Rs. Comfort The earbuds are meant for people with medium to large ears. if you have small ears, you can check out Mivi DuoPods A350 (review), or here are more earbuds options for people with small ears. How long can I wear BoAt Airdopes 141? Is it comfortable to watch a movie? Yes, BoAt Airdopes 141 is very comfortable and can be easily worn for 5 hours of a single stretch. The silicon tips are very soft and the overall earbud design is meant to offer good grip. if you need a tws for a slight workout like jogging, walking, or slight cardio then you can go with Airdopes 141. IPX4 is there to rescue you! Hence in terms of Comfort BoAt Airdopes 141 gets a solid 9/10. BoAt Airdopes 141 Features The biggest USP of BoAt Aitdopes 141 is the Beast mode which drops the latency up to 80ms which helps in better gaming. So for gamers, it gets a major tick. Does it work? Head over to the gaming test below. For entertainment and media consumption needs, BoAt Airdopes 141 comes with 8mm audio drivers that can take care of your audio needs. How well does it sound? Here’s our audio test! What about calling? Don’t worry! BoAt has ENx technology for better calling or mic audio recording. How good is the mic of Airdopes 141? Here’s our mic test. The earbuds have silicon tips which make them very comfortable & snug fit. You can wear these to the gym or running or jogging. As sweat will be prominent during workouts, BoAt Airdopes 141’s IPX4 water resistance will take care of it. One thing to add here is the touch controls work even if your fingers are wet or it’s raining. For the battery-conscious buyers, rejoice! The Airdopes 141 can provide your power backup for about 42 hours. Additionally, it supports fast charging too! 10 minutes of charge can get you about an hour of audio playback. How’s the battery backup on BoAt Airdopes 141? Here’s our battery test after 8 months of use. One more thing, the predefined alert sound of turning on, turning off, connecting, disconnecting, and the voice assistant is minimal which is certainly not an intrusion when you are connected. For the features, BoAt Airdopes are good but most of them miss one feature that’s available on Mivi and Noise earbuds, and that’s volume controls. BoAt Airdopes 141 Audio quality While testing audio gear, I wait till I can get my hands on BoAt products. It’s because of their sound signature. It’s nothing out of the world but the tuning is perfect. Airdopes 141 offers bass-heavy frequency, clear vocals, and decent treble with ample loudness. if you listen to Punjabi songs and the bass gets your adrenaline pumping, nothing will come close to Airdopes 141. Any bass-heavy song will hit differently on BoAt Airdopes 141. This reminds me of the OnePlus Buds Z which got stolen in the Metro. if the bass is not your thing, you will fall in love with the vocals and instrument separation on these. At any volume, you will not find any audio distortion. This is a big step up from BoAt Airdopes 161. You will have a great time listening to music or watching movies. It’s the most balanced TWS we’ve tested so far. So coming straight back to the audio quality of BoAt Airdopes 141, the 8mm drivers do their magic of being a strong bass-heavy option in this price range of about 1500 Rs. Like more bass? check out BoAt Airdopes 170. Gaming Performance When it comes to gaming, I always prefer wired headphones simply because of less latency. if you don’t know latency is a delay of audio & video synchronization. When you are playing any fast-paced game like Call of Duty Mobile, etc. the video and audio will not sync properly as a result gunshots will be delayed for a few milliseconds. Not just that, footsteps, changing gun noise, switching between sprinting and walking. So the overall experience hampers a lot. Users like that you can’t change it. So getting audio gear that the brand recommends for gaming should be considered. Since Airdopes 141 comes with Beast Mode, is BoAt Airdopes 141 good for gaming? Yes, BoAt Airdopes 141 is good for gaming thanks to the Beast Mode. It helps reduce the latency up to 80ms making the overall experience enjoyable. Even if you do not enable the Beast made the latency is quite low and can be used to play gamers. So BoAt worked on the gaming which BoAt lacked a while ago. Therefore for gaming, we would give it 8/10. Mic Test We’ve always had mixed feelings about the mics on BoAt Airdopes. Recently, we covered the best BoAt Airdopes you can buy and talked about this. The thing is, not all BoAt Airdopes have good microphones. Out of 10, we found only a few that can be used for calling. So what about BoAt Airdopes 141 mic quality? Well, it’s great for the price. BoAt has offered ENx technology that helps in reducing background noise. This is fine but the output is 100% dependent on how well the mic picks up your voice. My only complaint with BoAt is the customization of my voice as robotic. The good news is BoAt Airdopes 141 does not change to vocals. It picks up the voice quite clearly. The second good thing is if there is so much happening around you i.e. Metro announcements, people chatting nearby, or TV being close to you will be filtered out. Surely not 100% but on a scale of 10 where 10 is no change BoAt Airdopes 141 is about 4. So BoAt Airdopes 141 gets our recommendation and you can confidently use these for personal or professional calls. Battery Backup When it comes to BoAt Airdopes battery is never an issue. So what kind of battery backup is expected? Let’s have a look at different scenarios. If you are a gamer who will constantly be using the Beast mode and plan to play games for 3 to 4 hours then yes you can grab BoAt Airdopes 141. And if you do not game and listen to music for about 2 hours a day it will easily hit 2 weeks or even more. One of my colleagues uses his Airdopes 141 for 2 hours at 60 percent volume claiming battery backup of a month! So the battery backup is entirely dependent on your usage. Since I am a moderate user who plays games for about 2 hours and listens to music for 2 to 3 hours a day at max volume and Instagram Reels for about 1 hour, I can use these buds for over a week. So in terms of battery backup, you can expect the least for about 4 hours on a single go with hardcore gaming. Only listening can get you anywhere around 6 hours. In this 1 month of testing, I’ve had no complaints about the battery backup. What about charging? BoAt Airdopes 141 supports fast charging and the case gets charged in around 1 hour depending upon the charger. With the OnePlus Dash charger, I got the result. And if you’ll use 20 watts or nearby wattage you can expect it around 1 to 2 hours. On the other hand, the earbuds with just 10 minutes in the carry case can get you power for an hour! BoAt Airdopes 141 is for people with battery backup in mind. Hence 9/10. Airdopes 141 Good or Bad? In one statement, it’s the most perfect TWS we’ve tested this year @ 1500 Rs. Be it build, look and feel, features, audio quality, gaming latency, mic for calling, and battery backup, it has everything great for the price. About the price, you can grab BoAt Airdopes 141 from anywhere from 999 to 1499. Which is a wide bracket but the Airdopes 141 deserve the price. In my 11 months of using it, I found only one con which is the build of the earbuds. Though they are comfortable and lightweight and maybe because of that, they feel a little weak next to the Mivi DuoPods A550. So if you like lightweight earbuds you have no con with these Airdopes. Hence should you buy BoAt Airdopes 141? Certainly! It’s a great TWS under 1500 that you can buy. We tested more than 20 TWS from BoAt and even from brands like Mivi, Noise, & Boult. BoAt Airdopes 141 is certainly a killer earbud under 2000. if you don’t like earbuds with silicon ear tips you can select Mivi DuoPods A350 (review). Wrapping up There you have it, folks! Here’s the gaming review breakup. So to sum up features, Boult have not any stone unturned and we would give these 4/5. Good job! Boult Sound Quality (4.5/5) It’s truly an underdog. Boult K10 Review – Mic Test (4/5) So, Boult has given dual mic on each earbud making it quad-mic setup for crystal clear calling. Even inside Delhi Metro my calls were quite good and all the callers liked my mic quality (Yes, I ask them about the feedback!) Now, things you should know. Battery Backup & Charging (4.5/5) Boult has claimed about 55 hours of total playback and we did our testing and 1 month is enough to test multiple use case scenarios. Boult K10 Review – Gaming (4/5) If you are purely buying it for gaming then you can consider these. It helps us buy products and keep the website running! With that said, let’s begin the Soundcore R50i review with pros and cons. Soundcore K50i Pros & Cons Built Quality (5/5) Soundcore has done an incredible job in terms of build quality. It’s evident the moment you hold the case or the buds in hand. Feels like a 2000 Rs or more worth of TWS. The case is very strong. Magnetic hinges are very strong. The buds do not fall off if shaken or upside down. There’s not a single squeak while pressing the case. Similarly, the buds are soft and have no ruff edges. Even if you press the buds do not squeak. Surprisingly, this TWS comes with a pre-applied lanyard, which helps to have a strong grip on your wrist or just swing around when bored! Overall, for built, it’s a 5/5 TWS on a budget. Looks (4/5) In terms of looks, it’s basic and subtle. No flashiness or chrome anywhere to be seen. Not even RGB lights. If you like all the above, this is not the one for you. Otherwise, it’s a normal “blend-in” type of TWS case. Similarly, the buds are simple too, either white, black, or blue as you choose. Additionally, the case offers a matte color scheme, which is good at hiding scratches. The lanyard does make this TWS different from others, and people stare at it to know “what this thing is”. Yes, people don’t know how useful or what a lanyard is! The buds also have a similar matte design to the case. But you will find some glossiness on the inside. The stem is decently sized and has the Soundcore logo on both earbuds. If you like plain and simple design, then you would love these. For me, it’s a little too simple, hence 4/5. Soundcore R50i Review Comfort (4.5/5) & Grip (4/5) If you have medium to large ears, these earbuds will be comfortable for hours of use. I have worn these maximum up to 4 hours, and they were perfect. No pain or discomfort. Do earbuds with silicone ear tips not suit you? Then, you should avoid these. Because all the ear tips fit medium to large ears only. Not ideal for small ears. As per grip, these are also good. I do gym and these were quite grippy. With sweat, they do tend to lose grip. For regular outdoor use like walking or running, these do not fall off. You can confidently wear these. But if you do work out when sweating is prominent, then you can opt for BoAt Airdopes 141 (Review) or BoAt Airdopes 141 ANC (Review). Features (5/5) Soundcore has done their homework and have given budget-centric users what they have been asking for very long time! And that’s app support along with volume controls! Yes, that sounds cool isn’t! With the Soundcore app, you can pair an Android as well as an iOS device and take advantage of the 20+ EQs, game mode, touch control customisation, and so much more, like finding the earbuds and future proofing with updates! Along with that, you have Bluetooth 5.3 for past pairing. 10mm audio drivers that are quite common in this price range, and here’s our audio breakup. Dual mic for better call quality. IPX5 Water resistance. Another unique feature of Soudcore devices is the White Noise, along with AI Brainwave Audio. If you don’t know White Noise, it is a combination of all audible frequencies that create an environment. This tune is soothing music that lets you focus on something like meditation or when you are having difficulties while sleeping. This series of music lets you relax and ultimately takes you to a happy place. You can set it for a particular time between a few minutes to hours. Battery-wise, Soundcore R50i has a 400 mAh case along with buds having 40 mAh each. Brand claims up to 10 hours of continuous playback and up to 30 hours of overall playback. Here’s the battery backup and charging section. So, for features, I don’t think we are missing anything major. Hence, 5/5! Soundcore R50i Sound Quality (4.5/5) As for audio quality, the 10mm drivers are phenomenal! You will enjoy the moment you hit the first song. The default sound profile is balanced to the center, bass-heavy signature with detailed vocals and good treble. Even if you hit the max volume, there’s no audio distortion or breaking that we experienced. If you think the bass is high, you can select between 20+ presets. For the most part, the default EQ is the best-tuned, along with the bass-boosted one. You can confidently use this TWS for media consumption or listening to podcasts. When bass is missing, the vocals take the lead. Overall, audio quality is great, and Soundcore has done a phenomenal job of tuning these earbuds. Be it Punjabi music, Hip Hop, Classical, or even Sufi, you will enjoy every bass drop on these. Hence, Soundcore R50I gets a massive 5/5! Mic Test (4/5) If you like your voice to be as real as it is in real then this is the one to buy. There’s no AI or ENC to tune and make your vocals sound muffled or less sharp by removing the background noise. All you get is the real, raw vocals of your voice with ambient noise. I am aware the brand talks about AI, but I did not notice much fine-tuning. And that’s how I like it! I take calls indoors and outdoors, and the person on the call was able to guess where I am. But, they did not guess whether I was on the phone or wearing headphones! If you need tws with ENC to filter background noise, then you can opt for BoAt Airdopes 141ANC (Review). Soundcore R50i Battery Life And Charging (4/5) The brand claims up to 10 hours of battery backup on a single use and can deliver up to 30 hours of overall battery backup. The Soundcore R50i battery mAh is 400 for the case, while the buds have 40 mAh each. If you are a regular user who plugs in to take classes and puts the back in and then vibes on some songs or watches Reels or Shorts, then you can expect about a week’s battery backup. These claims are at 100% volume and a mix of calling, music, and gaming. Depending upon the charger used, you can have the buds and the case fully charged between 1 to 2 hours. We use a Moto 20-Watt charger, and within 1 hour and 20 minutes, the case and buds are fully charged. If you are willing to try something new and worthy, then Soundcore is a new strong competitor. Soundcore R50i Review Gaming (4/5) Earbuds claims to have lower latency, and at PadhkeDekho, we never go for numbers; we put it to the test! The same happened with the Soundcore R50i. Just make sure to enable gaming mode for an even better experience. My game list includes mobile games like COD Mobile, Real Racing 3, COC, and a little BGMI. And on PC, COD 5, GTA 4, GTA 5, Mafia 2, and CS with friends. So, how the gameplay experience? Very consistent throughout. No lags, audio stutter, or even delay while gaming or media consumption. The phones I used are the Moto Edge 40, the iPhone 13, the iPhone 16, and the iPhone 16 Plus. Note: Based on your phone’s Bluetooth version, performance will vary. As per my experience, I enjoyed playing games with the Soundcore R50i. Wrapping up! That’s about it, folks! This is an Anker Soundcore R50i review after a month of testing. • OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Review || Worthy of The Hype in 2025?
This is the budget OnePlus TWS under 2000 Rs that can tick most of your requirements. It’s great to gift someone. With over 20,000 Reviews on Amazon, it is one of the best-selling budget options. But is it the right one for you? Let’s talk about that in this OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Review. At PadhkeDekho, we test a product for a month before sharing the review and comparison. This helps readers like you with insights that help them make better-informed decisions. You can support us by purchasing this TWS using the Amazon links in this article. Be assured, you will not be charged a penny extra! With that said, let’s begin the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Review with Pros and Cons! Built Quality (9.5/10) Even though it’s a budget TWS from OnePlus, it is still for 2000 Rs. Where does the built quality stand? Well, it’s on top! Let’s start with the case, it’s soft, good-quality plastic without a wobbly opening/closing lid. Even if you press the case hard, there’s no panel pressing or squeaking. The lid has a strong magnetic hinge that opens smoothly with one hand. The charging agents are quite strong, too the buds don’t fall even if you turn them upside down. Inside, left and right markings are done nicely. Let’s talk about the buds. Just like the case, there are no rough edges, hence you can wear them for a long. Overall, the build quality is great, and there are no compromises to make. It feels like a strong TWS earbud, which costs 2800 to 3500 Rs. Hence, here’s 9.5/10 to the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R. Looks (8.5/10) Unlike the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, the 2R has a pixelation effect on the case. This feels like the OG OnePlus 5 phone with that sandstone feel, which makes it unique in terms of design. On the other hand, the case is quite big. I’ve switched from BoAt Airdopes 141ANC and can feel it. The buds, on the other hand, are very small and compact. Here’s a closer look. They are so thin that sometimes they fall while taking them out. Sure, within a few hours of use, you will get used to it. As far as design goes, the case as well as the buds are matte. The only glossy thing is the ONEPLUS logo on the case! We bought the White color and liked the dual color scheme inside the case and the buds. For the looks, it’s certainly a “fresh” look of the buds but the case is slightly bigger to my liking. Hence, for looks, the OnePlus Nords Buds 2R gets 8.5/10. OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Review Comfort & Grip These are comfortable to wear for long hours. I’ve personally tested for 5 hours. Other than sweat, there was no pain or even discomfort. One point to note is that Nord Buds 2R is for people with medium to large ears. if you have small ears or earbuds with silicone that do not fit properly, avoid this. Instead, check out these options that we’ve bought and tested under 2000 Rs. The design of the earbuds is quite well, and the silicone ear tips are soft; as a result, you can wear these comfortably. Hence, for comfort, OnePlus Nord Buds get 9/10. The story is similar to Grip. You can wear these for gym sessions or walking, jogging, running, or cycling. These buds do not fall out. Sure, with sweat, you might need to readjust these. But overall, they stay put. So, to sum up, you can wear these to the gym and enhance focus on workouts with music. OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Features (8.5/10) OnePlus Nord Buds 2R offers a feature that most of the TWS brands don’t talk about. That’s Dual Bluetooth pairing. You can connect your phone as well as your laptop to one device and switch between devices within seconds. One point to note is that it does not stay connected to two devices simultaneously. You can also install the Hey Melody app on your OnePlus or Android phone. It gives audio customizations or EQ modes, plus an option to design your own. Moreover, you can customize the button controls. There’s a dedicated Game mode that can be enabled from the app. If you have an iPhone, then sorry! You cannot do any of the mentioned activities even though the app is available on the App Store. OnePlus Nord Buds 2R shares the 12.4mm audio drivers with the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, which means the audio quality has to be great, right? Here’s more about the audio quality. The bigger audio driver might dry out the buds quickly. No! OnePlus claims up to 38 hours of total playback. But is it possible? Here’s our battery drain test! Unlike many other TWS earbuds that are still at IPX4, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R comes with IP55 Water & Sweat Resistance, which means you are in good hands during workouts and no need to be scared of sweat. Even though the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R misses on ANC, it still uses a quad-mic setup (2 mics on each earbud), which can help in better mic performance. Here’s our mic test. So, as for features, OnePlus Nord Buds 2R packs in a few great ones and ditches a few as well. Therefore, here’s 8.5/10. OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Audio Quality (10/10) It’s the best-sounding TWS under 2000 Rs, out of the box; you don’t need to make any changes to the EQ. It’s spot on. Be it vocals, bass, treble, and instrument separations. We’ve never been this confident with any TWS under 2000 Rs. It should be the first choice for bass lovers. It has that boomy punch which Indians love at any audio level. The vocals are on the next level. Be it any genre you are grooving on, the vocals are crisp like the singer is in front of you. Trebles and instruments are great too. You will experience different instruments even if you listen to your go-to playlist. Be ready to be wowed! We are not boasting it for the sake of saying it. It is truly remarkable. It’s the first time we have ever given full marks to any audio gear. Even the loudness is great. Be it at any volume you are grooving on, you will not find a single sign of audio distortion or audio breaking unless you are listening to lower codec music! Personally speaking, listening to max volume is tough on this one! With the Hey Melody app on your Android device, you can select between 3 predefined EQs or create a custom one. Though we did make a few changes, but kept on going to the default mode, it’s perfectly tuned for bass heads. If you enjoy music, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R is the one to grab. Here’s 10/10 for audio quality. Mic Quality (8/10) OnePlus Nord Buds 2R offers a quad mic setup, meaning each bud has two mics instead of one. So does this help? On top of it, OnePlus has used ENX technology to cut ambient noise around you. So, how true are these claims? After taking 100s of calls over a month, it’s good, not great! It is as good as any earbud with ENC, but the output is decent next to ANC earbuds. Indoors, the calls are better. Due to less movement, the mic picks up your voice clearly, and the job gets done. Outdoors, the mics were able to cut out the great ambient noise. However, the final output is way too processed for my liking. What does this mean? To cut the ambient noise, the earbuds edit your voice so that the output does not have noise in the background. In other words, call quality lacks sharpness; instead, bass is added. So, for call quality, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R is good as many earbuds with ENC are, but if calling is your top priority, then the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 (Review soon) needs your attention. Battery Backup (9/10) As per paper specs, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R can be used for up to 38 hours and up to 8 hours on constant use. Similarly, the carry offers 480 mAh while the buds have 36 mAh each. So what kind of battery backup can you expect? Well, it’s great and you will not have battery anxiety! Let’s talk numbers. If you crank up the full volume and use the buds for 3 to 4 hours, you can expect about 1.5 weeks of battery backup! We tried to hit 6 to 7 hours of battery backup on every use and that’s possible if you lower the volume to 60 to 70% volume. Even then, you can hit more than a week’s battery backup. As far as charging goes, it supports fast charging too. With a 20-watt charger, these get fully charged in under 1 hour and 20 minutes. Hence, for battery backup and charging, it will not disappoint! Here’s 9/10 to OnePlus Nord Buds 2R! OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Review: Gaming Performance Wireless earbuds or headphones are criticized for bad gaming output due to the latency. If you don’t know, it’s the delay between the sync of audio and video during video playback or even gaming. On some earbuds, it’s more noticeable, while others handle it quite well. Some brands mention their latency in ms which is milliseconds. The lower the number, the better the latency will be, thus better gaming. But this is not right all the time. We’ve tested a few “gaming tws” and frankly speaking, they were just marketing and no show. So don’t just go behind the number and make your call. Always check detailed reviews like those at PadhkeDekho! Where do the OnePlus Nord Buds stand for gaming? The latency is quite low, though not mentioned by OnePlus, so with our experience, it’s anywhere between 40 to 50ms. We did not feel lag during 4K content screening, hardcore gaming sessions, and video calling. The devices used were the iPhone 13, iPhone 15, and Moto Edge 40. Overall, gaming performance is good. To enhance it, the Hey Melody app offers a dedicated gaming mode that adds more performance, say about 20 to 30% on your Android phone. Since iPhones don’t support the Hey Melody app still the gaming performance is still good. Be ready to experience lag-free gaming. Out of 10, we will give the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R 9/10.   Should You Buy OnePlus Nord Buds 2R? If you are looking for the best-sounding tws earbuds under 2000 Rs that pack good features, build quality, looks, comfort, call quality, and battery backup, then you are making the right choice! It’s a perfect value TWS with no major cons. We recommend the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R. That’s not all, the gaming performance is quite good too, even without turning on the gaming mode. You can play any sort of game without much latency. Overall, it’s a no-brainer choice and ticks marks most of the users out there. However, there are only two things that you should know. If you have an iPhone, you will be able to use it; however, the Hey Melody app does not pair with the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R, and the second is the dual device connection. It connects to “two devices” but does not “stay active” on both. The movement you switch to the other device, it gets disconnected from the first one. Which does not solve the purpose that I was looking for. The next best alternative is OnePlus Nord Buds 3 (Review). It covers up all the shortcomings of Nord Buds 2R and adds ANC along with volume controls! So these are the reasons why you should buy the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R and avoid them. I hope you have found this OnePlus Nord Buds 2R review helpful. Please share it with others looking for a great TWS under 2000 Rs! That’s a Wrap!   I hope you have found this OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Review of any help. Do share it with friends who might be looking for a detailed review after testing! DM us on Instagram and check the inventory! With that said, let’s begin the BoAt Airdopes 91 review with the pros and cons! BoAt Airdopes 91 Pros And Cons Built Quality (8.5/10) BoAt Airdopes 91 is like any other tws, and that’s plastic. Unlike others, the plastic used is durable, and the TWS can have a long life if used carefully. There are no squeaky panels per se, no hinge noise while opening or closing the lid. But the case lid has a little movement, which is to be expected for the price. Whereas buds are strong and durable. Like the case, the buds are firm with no flimsy or sharp edges. Hence, the buds will be comfortable to wear for long hours. So, BoAt Airdopes 91 is good in terms of build quality as per the price, we would give it 8.5/10. Looks (9/10) BoAt Airdopes 91 has a textured design, which looks good on the top of the case and on the buds. You can feel it too! Otherwise, the overall design is matte without glossy panels on the case or the buds. Do you prefer glossy or matte? Confused about which is better? Here’s a little breakdown. Matte keeps fingerprint marks away, while glossy hides the scratches better. So, to prevent damage, you can buy skins via Amazon. On the front of the case is a beautiful design with a White LED light, which shows the battery and charging status. When the case has a lower battery, the White LED starts to blink. On the other hand constant White LED means enough charging. Like any other TWS, the buds have the Red and Blue LEDS. So, for looks, BoAt Airdopes 91 gets a 9/10. Comfort and Grip? (9/10) If you are looking for a comfortable pair of TWS that you can wear for long hours and take them to the gym or running sessions, then BoAt Airdopes 91 can be the one! The fit is snug, and the buds naturally restrict about 20% of ambient noise by themselves without ANC! So will they fit you? It depends! Do you prefer the earbuds with silicone or half-in-ear like the Apple AirPods 2? If you like earbuds with silicone tips, you should go with Airdopes 91. You also get 2 additional pairs of ear tips. Silicone earbuds are not your thing? You can opt for BoAt Airdopes 91 Prime or the BoAt Airdopes Atom 81 Pro, which will suit you better. Out of the box, medium tips are applied. You must try all the sizes to find the one for the best fit. Hence, for comfort and grip, BoAt Airdopes 91 gets a 9/10. Features (8.5/10) BoAt keeps its product lineup with offers and features to make a great package overall. Airdopes 91 is a perfect example. An under 1000 Rs tws with Insta Wake N Pair for quick pairing, IPX5 water resistance to safeguard from sweat, ENx mics for good call quality. The buds also support ASAP charge, which gives more than an hour’s playback capability with just 10 minutes of charge and so much more! Even though the case is compact, the TWS claims to provide battery backup up to 45 hours (here’s real-world figures). With USB-C, you can fast charge these, too! BoAt has kept gamers in mind, too! With BEAST MODE, the latency is about 50 ms, which makes gaming a pleasant experience (here’s gaming feedback). For the price, you are getting more practical features that will help in your daily use. Hence, we give it 9.5/10 for features. BoAt Airdopes 91 Audio Quality (8.5/10) We have tested more than 20 BoAt Airdopes, and most are decent, but good ones are there too! Here are some of our recommendations on the list! What makes BoAt Airdopes 91 special? Well, the 13mm drivers under 1000 Rs is a nice start. So, what will be the audio quality? Let’s talk about that! The sound signature is bass-heavy, vocals are clear and crisp, treble is well tuned, as a result, the media will sound very good. The buds get very loud, too. Staying below 85% volume will be better, as the balance of everything is better. Beyond that, you will have audio distortion and audio leak due to the higher loudness of the buds. If you don’t know audio leak happens when audio comes out of the device in the open or the ambient atmosphere. This doesn’t matter if you are alone, but it means a lot if you are in a public place like the Metro or bus. What about thumping bass? Yes, it’s there and it’s quite evident. So you can call these bass-heavy TWS earbuds under 1000 Rs. This makes it good for audio needs or media consumption on a budget. Hence, BoAt Airdopes 91 gets an 8.5/10. What About Mic Performance? (9/10) After testing many tws under 1000 Rs, I was about to lose hope with brands offering good call quality other than Mivi, and guess what, BoAt Airdopes 91 saved my hope! You can use this for personal and professional calls, I can give you that! The mic output is clean and raw with about 20% to 40% less background noise. Before sharing the review, we took more than 50 calls indoors, outdoors, on the streets, and it did not disappoint us. Sure, don’t expect it to work like any ANC-equipped TWS. So, background noise like vehicles, construction sites, or utensils being washed will be clear as day! But the other person will not complain about the quality or sound being distant from the microphone. Therefore, BoAt Airdopes 91 gets a massive 9/10! Battery Backup & Charging (9/10) BoAt Airdopes 91 has a compact form factor and packs in 300 mAh batteries. While the buds have 35 mAh each for the earbuds. The claimed figures are 45 hours overall and up to 6 hours on regular use. For the price, the claims are fine. What about real-time? Okay. Here are some scenarios. Listening to music at up to 80% volume will lose just 30% battery in a span of 2 hours! On full volume, the buds will drop 40% of battery in 2 hours of use. So with those stated facts, you can easily touch or even cross the 5 hours + battery backup with just the music playback. If you are a casual user who switches between media consumption and music, you can expect more than 6 hours of juice. With this data and pattern, you can expect about 5+ days of battery backup. We also tested these for calling, and we hit a mark of 5 hours with calling via Zoom meetings or regular phone calls. So, do not go with the claimed figures, the buds are more than what BoAt is claiming! As far as charging goes, the case gets fully charged around 1 hour and a few more minutes with a 20-watt charger. If you’re low on battery, charge the case for 10 minutes, and thanks to quick charge, you will have 1 hour of juice ready on your command. Hence, to sum up battery backup and charging, we are quite happy with the figures we have recorded. With that, we would give BoAt Airdopes 91 a 9/10. Gaming With BoAt Airdopes 91? (9/10) So BEAST MODE with up to 50ms latency. What does this mean? Does it actually make any difference? Let’s talk about it. We played COD Mobile (80%), COC (50%), BGMI (30%), and some lightweight games to have a basic idea of gaming performance. The most demanding titles are BGMI and COD Mobile, and the earbuds’ performance is fine. Overall, good experience. The fire sound, enemies’ footsteps, and overall audio quality is very immersive. The phones used were iPhone 13, iPhone 16, and Moto Edge 40. If you feel some latency, you would turn Beast mode on every use after putting the buds back in. Turning on the Beast Mode is easy, pressing the CTC button on the right earbud for a few seconds. You will hear an alert confirming the case. Hence, for gaming, BoAt Airdopes 91 is great, and we would give it 9/10. Should You Buy BoAt Airdopes 91? BoAt Airdopes 91 is a good option for someone looking for good audio quality, better call quality, and gaming performance. Along with that, the battery backup is also good, IWP works very well, BEAST MODE for gaming makes it a sweet option too. The buds use Bluetooth V5.3, and it’s good too; no audio breaking was witnessed around 5 to 7 metres away from the paired device. As for design, it’s quite compact, and the matte design makes it look premium. For a price of 800 Rs, it’s an easy recommendation. Is it the best? There are a few things that you should know. First, some amount of audio distortion at max volume is present. You can avoid it by staying around 85% volume. Second, there’s no app support, so you can’t make changes to any audio profiles or edit controls. Both the above features are available on Soundcore R50i, which sometimes goes on sale under 1000 Rs while the regular price is around 1400 Rs. If these two points are not important, going with BoAt Airdopes 91 is a good option under 1000 Rs. Otherwise, Soundcore by Anker R50i is a good alternative. Wrapping up! • Apple AirPods 2 Long Term Review || Still Worth it in 2025?
Apple AirPods have always been in great demand and highly popular since their inception. We bought AirPods 2, two years ago and now we know why people buy these! So in this Apple AirPods 2 Long Term Review, we will talk about everything you should know before buying Apple AirPods 2. Here, we’ve talked about the Built Quality, Looks, Comfort, Grip, User Experience (Android vs iOS), Audio Quality, Mic Output, Battery Backup, and our verdict and alternatives. if you are new at PadhkeDekho, we buy tech products and services, use them for a month, and share unbiased customer-centric reviews. This gives our readers the content made for them instead of heavy marketing words and calling it a day! Readers like you support us. Buying anything using the links on this page might help us earn a small commission from Amazon at no additional cost to you. This, however, does not affect our opinion about a product. Let’s begin the Apple AirPods 2 review with Built Quality. Built Quality (9.5/10) In one word: remarkable! The moment you will unbox the product you will go wow. Certainly feels like a 13,000 Rs product. This wow feeling will even grow more the moment you open the case with one hand and take the buds out! You got the gist, that it’s a good quality product. But how good exactly? To begin with, let’s talk about the hinges. These magnetic connectors are so precisely done that a little force from a thumb can open or close the lid. At the time of writing this article, it’s still “like new” and “no flex” or creaking noise so far! Even today, tws earbuds that can be operated by one hand are still a challenge. It’s still the best one and nothing comes close. As for the buds, they are perfect. No sharp edges, the steam is strong, and does not feel cheap at all. In these 2 years of use, they have witnessed a few drops and are still in the best possible shape. Looks (Hit or Miss) The design of Apple AirPods is a role model of many TWS that you see even today. Most of the buds have a long stem design and especially have white color so that they can “look” similar to Apple AirPods. This helps brands hype their product I am not against it. Let’s come back to Apple AirPods 2 looks. One good thing about the case is the compact design. It does not make a big hump in your pockets. We’ve owned more than 20 TWS earbuds and none is as compact as the AirPods 2. Let’s now talk about the charging or carry case first. It’s glossy and attracts scratches very easily. Hence before getting AirPods, order a few skins so that you can use them freely. What about the buds? The buds offer an in-ear design with a significantly longer stem. This has its pros and cons that I will talk about in the feel section below. Why not full marks for looks? Because it’s available in white color only! Feel (9.5/10) So far we’ve owned and tested more than 20 TWS earbuds and finding a comfortable pair is difficult. Why? because humans have different ear designs and sizes. Which means one size does not fit all! Let’s put it this way; You go to a fancy restaurant and order a curry-based delicacy. Even if you mention the spice or salt preference they will still give you a bland one. Why? so that you can add salt and paper as per your needs. Earbuds that are half in-ear like the Apple AirPods are the bland choice. Like that, it will work for many folks out there. Even if you have small ears or slightly larger ones, you can wear them comfortably. I have large ears and usually prefer earbuds with silicon ear tips I don’t mind wearing Apple AirPods because of the feel and comfort on offer. You can wear these for very long hours without any pain or discomfort. My niece is 13 years old and my father is 60+ and can easily wear Apple AirPods 2! So you will be fine with these. But! if you wish to wear these for workouts and gym the story is different. Coming up flip; Grip! Grip (7/10) With more than 2 years of on-and-off use, I have a lot to say here. In general use, Apple AirPods 2 does not fall that easily. Doesn’t matter how hard you wiggle or twist your neck! It’s even better for people with small ears. The design is perfect and offers the best snug fit a half-in-ear earbud can give. Watching movies on the couch, and listening to music while resting straight is not a problem. So no complaitans here. But what about workouts and gymming? Apple AirPods 2 can be worn for light workouts like treadmills, jogging, or cycling sessions in the gym with no problem. Sometimes with sweat, the touch controls need a few taps but that’s fine it happens. But for those who are into heavy-weight training or hitting extreme cardio, you need to have the Apple AirPods Pro 2 or earbuds which come with silicon ear tips. Why? Because half-in-ear buds lose grip with sweat and ultimately pop out. Since I have large ears, I prefer earbuds with silicon tips or ear hooks for the best grip and snug fit. So I would give 7/10 for grip to Apple AirPods 2. User Experience (Android VS iOS) Since it’s an Apple product it’s designed with the Apple ecosystem in mind, hence the experience is phenomenal. For context, auto pair, auto switch between the connected devices, and customized double tap controls, are a few features. It’s all very smooth and breeze and there’s no denying it. If you have Apple products then this makes sense and will add more convenience to the table. So. got an iPhone? Grab AirPods Too! What if your phone is Android? Does AirPods Work With Android? To be honest, it works, barely! You can pair it using the Bluetooth Settings of your phone, just like any regular TWS. And the media controls like play and pause will work and that’s about it. And here’s a long list of things that will not work! To begin with, No Siri activation, customized double tap controls, automatic switching between connected devices, automatic ear detection, and using one earbud in mono mode to name a few! Apple AirPods 2 for an Android user is a normal tws earbud in terms of features with a price of Rolls-Royce! This means if your primary device is an Android you should avoid getting Apple AirPods. Instead for the price go with the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 (review soon) which is pure bliss. Audio Quality (8/10) All it comes down to the audio quality when you play your favorite track for the first time on new audio gear! Since we deal in many TWS earbuds we get a sense of expectation based on their design language. Usually, half-in-ear earbuds are not the best ones out there for those who value bass. if you are a bass-head, you are better off with Jabra Elite 4 or OnePlus Buds Pro 2 hands down. Don’t look at anything else. So what to expect from Apple AirPods 2 when it comes to audio? Apple AirPods 2 are for people who like crisp vocals along with details in mids and highs. The earbuds can go very loud hence staying around 60 to 80 is the sweet spot. Listening to podcasts on the go or in your comfy zone feels real and in person. Even classical music hits differently on these. It offers so much detail that you will actually enjoy the music. Since I am a bass-head, I keep going back to my OnePlus Buds Pro 2 (review soon) but Apple AirPods 2 is not that bad either. Out of 10, we will give it 8/10. Call Quality (8.5/10) Nowadays, call quality is among the top requirements. Be it chatting with friends or family or being professional with clients, I prefer to wear TWS earbuds for calls. Because earbuds are convenient and can be worn for long hours of calls. So where does Apple AirPods 2 stand for calls? In simple words, it’s good. It can help you achieve the task be it formal or informal. Unlike other earbuds that sound distant from the mic, Apple AirPods 2 is totally different. Maybe because of the long steam? The final output doesn’t sound robotic and is also free from artificially improved like many TWS with noise isolation. You ultimately get voice input which is almost similar to talking on the phone. But! Things get a little bad if you have noise or disturbance in close range. It will sound “just like it is”. So outdoors will be a problem if you are in a public area. Whereas in the office or silent environment things are very good. So for indoor use, we recommend Apple AirPods 2 but when outdoors watch out for ambient noise as it will be there. Here are some of our best choices of earbuds that can cater to your calling needs. These cost around the Apple AirPods 2 or cheaper. So for call quality, we would give it 7/10. Battery Backup (8/10) if you are coming to tws earbuds after using on-ear or over-ear headphones with massive batteries like 60 to 70 hours, will find the next statement confusing. Apple AirPods 2 can provide you with a continuous playback of 5 hours and a total playback of 24 hours. How’s that possible? Well, let’s talk about that! Both earbuds have a dedicated battery that lets you use the earbuds for hours without needing to charge them. While many brands mention their battery size Apple is different! So let me break down our 2-year-plus experience with it. On one single constant use, you can expect anywhere between 3 to 5 hours. This depends on the volume you are listening to and the calls you are taking. If you stay around 60 to 80 percent then you can hit the 5 hours backup without any issues. And once the buds are low on battery putting them back in the case for just 15 minutes can get you around 2 hours of backup. So let’s say you are done watching a movie and put the buds back in. While you are working your day out, the buds are charging for your next use! That’s how you will get around 24 hours of total playback. What about the charging time? Charging time depends on the charger used. Apple 5-watt charger takes a little over 1.5 hours. If you’ll use the 20-watt charger then the time will be dropped by another half an hour to about 1 hr 10 or 20 mins. In case you are wondering, Apple AirPods 2 supports wireless charging too. Just buy a Magsafe wireless charger or any Qi-certified charger. This battery backup is fine as it supports fast charging and quick charging by 25 minutes to 2 hours of additional usage. And even after 2 years, I am still getting around 2 to 3 hours, which suits my needs. So for battery backup, we would give Apple AirPods 2 an 8/10 and charging time about 9/10. Should You Buy Apple AirPods 2 in 2023? Alternatives? It all comes down to the verdict of whether should you buy Apple AirPods 2 or any other audio gear around that price range. Let me break out the summary. If you have other Apple Products like the iPhone, iMac MacBook, or iPad then Apple AirPods make sense. But which variant? If you are workout workout-centric person and need the best active noise cancellation on any TWS then you need to have an Apple AirPods Pro. It’s for you and totally worth it. If you are casual or light fitness motivated like jogging walking or even treadmills, then Apple AirPods 2 or the 3rd generation is good for you. But if you need more features like spatial audio or dynamic head tracking then Apple AirPods 3 is the way to go. Ultimately, Apple AirPods 2 is not a bad option either it’s a good package with great features, practicality, and a slightly better price proposition if you put it that way. But if you have an Android smartphone and a PC/laptop running Windows or Ubuntu then it will not be a good option as many features will not be supported. For Android, you can check out the below table. All the earbuds here have been used by our editors and are totally worth it. It’s a Wrap, Guys! • OnePlus Buds 3 Review | Premium Features For Premium Price?
Whenever OnePlus introduces a new feature to its audio lineup, we pay close attention. This time, OnePlus added a volume slider along with other amazing features. In this OnePlus Buds 3 Review, you will learn about many things, and most importantly, whether you should buy or ignore them. After using the OnePlus Z (Review), OnePlus Nord Buds (Review), and OnePlus Nord Buds 2R (Review) it was about time to try the slightly premium OnePlus TWS earbuds. Before starting the review, welcome to PadhKeDekho where we bring reviews and comparisons after 1 month of testing. This allows users like you, to get the insights that help in decision-making. Since we don’t do brand collaborations, everything here is 100% real user experience. With that said, let’s bring the OnePlus Buds 3 Review. Here are quick links to Pros and cons, Built Quality, Looks, Comfort Test, Features, Audio quality, Mic Output, Active Noise Cancellation + Transparency, Battery Backup, Gaming and Verdict! OnePlus Buds 3 Pros & Cons Pros Cons Good built quality Only 2 color options Looks like Pro Slightly bigger case 2 distinctive color options Hi-Res audio is not supported on iOS devices Good ANC + Transparency Amazing audio quality Bass-centric sound signature In-ear detection feature Great mic quality Dual Active Bluetooth pairing App support for Android & iOS Good battery backup & quick charging Built Quality (9.5/10) This is our 4th OnePlus TWS and never have we experienced inferior or bad quality products. OnePlus does a great job be it any price segment you look at. We have budget-centric OnePlus Nord Buds 2R (Review) even though they are steller built quality. We can confidently say the same for the OnePlus Buds 3. The heart lies in the case of any TWS. The case is not very compact but the quality is good. There are no hard plastic or squeaky panels. The hinge is also strong but the magnetic pull is not very strong. You can open the lid and even take the buds with one hand. I prefer earbuds like this. The Apple AirPods 2 (Review) & the Apple AirPods Pro 2 (Review) are also quite similar. On the same note, the buds are top class too! You will see similarities with the OnePlus Buds Pro. The in-ear design and the superior quality of the ear tips make the experience plush. There are no rough edges and overall wearing is pleasant. So for built quality, OnePlus makes great devices and this one is no different either. Hence 9.5/10 for the OnePlus Buds 3! Looks (9/10) All the other OnePlus TWS tested had a slightly bigger form factor like a Gulab Jamun! Whereas this one is different. OnePlus Buds 3 are compact and have rounded edges and sharp lines in the front. This year “More straight lines than curves” is the design language. We went with the blue color. It also comes in Black as well as Green color you can check those too! The case offers a matte design language while the buds are mostly chrome. The buds are like the OnePlus Buds Pro thanks to the chrome treatment and a hint of the color you will pick. Since we went with Blue you can see how amazing they look. OP Buds 3 are good-looking and does feel like a premium audio gear. Note: Chrome is very prone to scratches so be a little careful while handing the earbuds. Wel really likes the overall design of OnePlus Buds 3 hence we would give it 9/10. Are OnePlus Buds 3 Comfortable? (9.5/10) We have a variety of people here with different ear sizes; small to large ears. And frankly speaking, this is ideal for medium to large ears or anyone who can wear earbuds with silicone ear tips. There are 3 pairs of adjustments given, so do try all of these before sticking to one! For medium to large ears, you will love these. The fitting is snug. The buds stay put while running or gymming. These are by far the best OnePlus buds for workouts. The design is very comfortable you can wear these for long hours. I tested for 6 hours on the go, and guess what perfect experience. You can wear these for even longer, just turn on the transparency or ANC mode (Explained below). So for comfort, the OnePlus Buds 3 gets a solid 9.5/10. What Are The Features of The OnePlus Buds 3? OnePlus Buds 3 offersa plethora of features and with HeyMelody app support on Android and iOS makes the experience amazing! Here are some of the USP’s. #1 HeyMelody App Support Thankfully this OnePlus Buds 3 supports the HeyMelody app on both Android and iOS. This will allow you to change your EQ settings, create one as per your liking, and enable gaming mode. customizing media controls, update your earbuds firmware, and most importantly, find your earbuds! #2 ANC + Transparancy Per the paper specs, the OnePlus Buds 3 offers up to 49 dB noise cancellation and transparency mode. The best part is that each earbud has 3 mics. Which might give in better transparency and calling? Yes, the ANC output is great so far the best, we can confidently say. The feedback stays the same for the mic output too. The price you are paying is justified in terms of ANC and mic output. Here’s the Mic output and ANC + Transparency test. #3 Sliding Volume Control Unlike a few earbuds that offer touch controls for volume, OnePlus has given a more convenient touch slider. You will get the hands-on immediately. We can count earbuds with volume controls and let’s appreciate brands that go to those heights to make it achievable. Finally, you can control the volume be it listening to music, watching movies, or even during calls. You do not need to take your phone out. #4 Dual Device Pairing With the OnePlus Buds 3 you can connect your ear buds to two devices at the same time. This is such a relief. Let me explain! Let’s say you are connected to a laptop and a smartphone. While the media is playing on the laptop and the phone receives a call you can press a button and accept the call and the media will pause automatically. Pairing devices is very easy. For the first connection just open the case and check your Bluetooth devices you will see the OnePlus 3 there.  For the second device, you will need to reopen the case and press and hold the button for a few seconds until the LED turns white. Pair the second device. Now both devices are connected and are paired. You don’t need to switch between, it does it automatically when a call comes or media source changes. #5 Battery Backup + Fast Charging OnePlus Buds 3 features up to 44 hours of playback overall. As far as battery mAh goes, the case offers 520 mAh while the buds have 58 mAh each. The buds are capable of going for as long as 10 hours (claimed). As far as charging goes, 10 minutes of quick charge enables earbuds to go for 2 hours. And if you charge the buds with the case for 10 minutes, the buds can go as long as 7 hours (claimed). So what are the real-world figures? Here’s the battery section! #6 3D Audio Via the HeyMelody app, you can enable 3D Audio and you must enable it. It changes the overall listing experience especially when you are listening to live recordings or live media. The biggest change you will notice is that the audio is coming from all sides instead of left and right. The overall balance keeps switching and it’s a thrilling experience. if this is the first time you will be listening to 3D audio. Keep your eyes open and avoid watching reels especially horror and thrilling content! #7 In-Ear Detection My frequent audio gadget is an Apple AirPods Pro 2 (Review) and seeing in-ear detection on OP3 was a different feeling. I paid so much and OnePlus nailed it at a lower price! I was curios about the integration and once again OnePlus did a good job on such a price. Sure it’s not instant like with Apple devices but a point mili-second difference doesn’t hurt! If you don’t know, taking the buds out of the ears will pause the media, and putting it back will resume it. It’s such a relief and very easy to get accustomed! One Plus Buds 3 Audio Quality (9.5/10) We have been testing and using OnePlus earbuds for the last four years, starting with the OnePlus Buds Z and moving on to the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R. None had any audio quality issues, audio disturbances, or uneven audio. Did the OnePlus Buds 3 sound the same? No! It’s better. Here’s more. OnePlus Buds 3 powers 10.4mm woofer and 6mm twitter. This dual-driver configuration produces incredible results. It’s a must-have recommendation for people who are bassheads. The low end is clean and full of thump. The vocals are great too. You would love watching videos or podcasts wearing these. That 6mm driver for twitter makes the treble stand out. That’s a smart move from OnePlus to add twitter. First, it does not stress the audio driver to produce all the 3 major frequencies. It helps in distortion-free music and full detail in audio output. Icing on the cake is the audio customizations via the HeyMelody app on both Android and iOS. You can choose between the pre-defined EQs or create one as per your need. If you don’t find the results to your liking, you can test the Golden Sound via the HeyMelody app. This test monitors your hearing capabilities and based on that adds fillers and makes changes to the present EQ. TBH, the first time I did that test, the result blew away my mind. There was music all around! Another aspect to test for earbuds is the loudness. And OP Buds 3 can go very loud. Even at max volume, there’s no audio distortion or uneven audio balance between the buds. So to sum up audio quality, We would give the OnePlus Buds 3 a 9.5/10. OnePlus Buds 3 Mic Quality (9/10) The mics are incredible. Be it indoors or outdoors, the call quality is crisp and satisfactory overall experience. If you are looking for earbuds with great call quality under 5000 Rs then OnePlus Buds 3 is a strong contender. Most buds struggle to fetch your voice. OnePlus mic are very responsive. Even if you are speaking slowly the mics capture it and the voice will be in complete focus irrespective of the place (indoor or outdoor). OnePlus has given 3 mics to each earbud making it achieve amazing mic quality. Your voice will sound very real like from a smartphone and less background noise and the other person will not complain about you using inferior earbuds for calling. My daily driver was the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R and seems like I have found the upgrade! So, for calling or mic quality we would give the OnePlus Buds 3 a 9/10. ANC + Transparency Test (9.5/10) OnePlus Buds 3 offers 49 dB Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation. Are these just big words and numbers? No! You will feel the difference if you are upgrading from earbuds in the 2000-3000 price range. Via the HeyMelody app, you can change between the ANC options like low, medium, high, and smart. And the results change drastically. The high mode removes the background noise by about 90%. If somebody is in your proximity then only you can hear them. TVs, metro announcements, Potiticials E-rickshaw branding, becomes non-existing! You can certainly play around the ANC Settings and find your best spot. For me though, The high mode does the work. Similarly, the transparency mode works great. It uses the 3 mics on each earbud! When you are outdoors you must stay aware of the surrounds hence enable the transparency mode. It hampers the music a little but keeps you aware of your surroundings. The ANC + transparency mode of the OnePlus Buds 3 gets 9.5/10. Battery Backup + Charging (9/10) In the features above, we talked about the claimed figures and charging support. Let’s talk about the real use case scenario. In terms of battery backup, we are quite satisfied keeping in mind the features on offer. Let’s talk numbers. If you are a normal user who doesn’t care about ANC or 3D sound, just connect and use them you can expect anywhere around 8 to 10 hours on a single use depending upon the volume. Which is very impressive. With transparency mode enabled and the same listening preferences, the buds can go for about 7 to 8 hours on a single use. The biggest impact is made when the volume is full and ANC is enabled. In this mode, you can expect anything between 4 to 6 hours of juice on a single use. This is because of the various modes like low, medium, high, and custom ANC options. As I said, the buds deliver great battery backup. Coming to the charging, the case supports fast charging and with a 20-watt charger takes 1.30 mins. We also tried the OnePlus Dash charger and it was done in under an hour! So for charging and battery backup, we would give the OnePlus Buds 3 a 9/10. OnePlus Buds 3 Gaming Review (8/10) If you are buying these for pro-level gaming then there are better alternatives like Realme Air 6 Pro hands down. Does this mean these are bad? No! If you have a recent OnePlus device you will have an amazing experience. Whereas on other Android or iOS devices, you will need to enable gaming mode via the HeyMelody app. Even then there’s some latency here and there. We have tried many fast pase shooters and overall gaming was good. It was not very good but not bad either. We can give the OnePlus Buds 3 a satisfactory 8/10. Should You Buy OnePlus Buds 3? OnePlus Buds 3 is a slightly premium device and it is not only in terms of price. The features it has, the quality on offer, app support, volume slider, Google Past pairing and so much more!  OnePlus Buds 3 is a flagship killer for sure. Everything from built quality to looks, audio quality, mic output, and in-ear detection, everything works well. We loved the audio quality. Slightly bass-heavy out of the box but can be tuned, increased, or decreased depending upon the needs via the HeyMelody app. Another thing to love is the top-class ANC on offer. Transparency is good too. The Mics are quite a game-changer on these. Other than the gaming experience, we don’t have anything major to tell you as a con! Wrapping up! There you have it guys!
