User Experience

This UPS supports peripherals under 600VA or 360 watts. With that in mind, I connected a single 24-inch Dell S2421H, CPU, and nothing else. Both of these fall under the 360-watt capacity of Zebronics Zeb U725 UPS.

So I did quite a few tests under different scenarios.

The moment electricity is cut, the UPS will beep once after 10 seconds with a light flash. If you have an RGB-powered keyboard or mouse connected, you will see some flashes on those two.

if the battery goes low, the beep will become continuous and the UPS will power at any moment now. So now is the best time to turn off the PC. But how long will it work? Let’s dive deep into the testing.

Scenario 1: Left the computer on ideal while I was not working on it. Only notifications of emails, messages, and app updates nothing heavy in the background working. So in this case, you can expect around 25 to 30 minutes.

Scenario 2: When I was working on the Emails, and Google Docs and switching back and forth between 10 Google Chrome tabs. I consider it heavy-duty based on my work. So the UPS lasted about 10 to 20 minutes.

Scenario 3: Watching a movie with headphones and not using the speaker of the computer and it went between 15 to 20 mins.

So you can expect anywhere about 10 mins to 30 mins. if this battery backup meets your needs then you can buy this UPS. Most UPS give the same battery backup. Only it will increase if you spend more and get 600 Watt or 800 Watt UPS which will come to double the price.

Other than that, it’s a great UPS under 3000. Many people are complaining that 30-minute backup is very poor etc. What else are you expecting from a 600va/360-watt UPS? It also depends on your PC.

if you have a powerful computer for reference I have an i5 with 8 GB RAM and 2 GB of graphics memory along with a 24-inch IPS Monitor so the battery backup between 15 minutes to 30 minutes is good!

In under 30 minutes, you can effectively close all the applications and successfully shut down your PC. If you are working on a text document you can continue for 30 minutes and maybe by that time electricity can be back.

Exporting a 1080P video of 800MB takes about 10 mins so you can export your video too.
