With that said, let’s begin the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Review with Pros and Cons!

Built Quality (9.5/10)
Even though it’s a budget TWS from OnePlus, it is still for 2000 Rs. Where does the built quality stand? Well, it’s on top!
Let’s start with the case, it’s soft, good-quality plastic without a wobbly opening/closing lid. Even if you press the case hard, there’s no panel pressing or squeaking.
The lid has a strong magnetic hinge that opens smoothly with one hand. The charging agents are quite strong, too the buds don’t fall even if you turn them upside down. Inside, left and right markings are done nicely.
Let’s talk about the buds. Just like the case, there are no rough edges, hence you can wear them for a long.

Overall, the build quality is great, and there are no compromises to make. It feels like a strong TWS earbud, which costs 2800 to 3500 Rs.
Hence, here’s 9.5/10 to the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R.
Looks (8.5/10)

Unlike the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, the 2R has a pixelation effect on the case. This feels like the OG OnePlus 5 phone with that sandstone feel, which makes it unique in terms of design. On the other hand, the case is quite big. I’ve switched from BoAt Airdopes 141ANC and can feel it.
The buds, on the other hand, are very small and compact. Here’s a closer look. They are so thin that sometimes they fall while taking them out. Sure, within a few hours of use, you will get used to it.
As far as design goes, the case as well as the buds are matte. The only glossy thing is the ONEPLUS logo on the case!
We bought the White color and liked the dual color scheme inside the case and the buds.
For the looks, it’s certainly a “fresh” look of the buds but the case is slightly bigger to my liking. Hence, for looks, the OnePlus Nords Buds 2R gets 8.5/10.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Review Comfort & Grip

These are comfortable to wear for long hours. I’ve personally tested for 5 hours. Other than sweat, there was no pain or even discomfort. One point to note is that Nord Buds 2R is for people with medium to large ears.
if you have small ears or earbuds with silicone that do not fit properly, avoid this. Instead, check out these options that we’ve bought and tested under 2000 Rs.
The design of the earbuds is quite well, and the silicone ear tips are soft; as a result, you can wear these comfortably. Hence, for comfort, OnePlus Nord Buds get 9/10.
The story is similar to Grip. You can wear these for gym sessions or walking, jogging, running, or cycling. These buds do not fall out. Sure, with sweat, you might need to readjust these. But overall, they stay put.
So, to sum up, you can wear these to the gym and enhance focus on workouts with music.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Features (8.5/10)
OnePlus Nord Buds 2R offers a feature that most of the TWS brands don’t talk about. That’s Dual Bluetooth pairing. You can connect your phone as well as your laptop to one device and switch between devices within seconds. One point to note is that it does not stay connected to two devices simultaneously.
You can also install the Hey Melody app on your OnePlus or Android phone. It gives audio customizations or EQ modes, plus an option to design your own. Moreover, you can customize the button controls. There’s a dedicated Game mode that can be enabled from the app.
If you have an iPhone, then sorry! You cannot do any of the mentioned activities even though the app is available on the App Store.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2R shares the 12.4mm audio drivers with the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, which means the audio quality has to be great, right? Here’s more about the audio quality.
The bigger audio driver might dry out the buds quickly. No! OnePlus claims up to 38 hours of total playback. But is it possible? Here’s our battery drain test!
Unlike many other TWS earbuds that are still at IPX4, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R comes with IP55 Water & Sweat Resistance, which means you are in good hands during workouts and no need to be scared of sweat.
Even though the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R misses on ANC, it still uses a quad-mic setup (2 mics on each earbud), which can help in better mic performance. Here’s our mic test.
So, as for features, OnePlus Nord Buds 2R packs in a few great ones and ditches a few as well. Therefore, here’s 8.5/10.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Audio Quality (10/10)

It’s the best-sounding TWS under 2000 Rs, out of the box; you don’t need to make any changes to the EQ. It’s spot on. Be it vocals, bass, treble, and instrument separations. We’ve never been this confident with any TWS under 2000 Rs.
It should be the first choice for bass lovers. It has that boomy punch which Indians love at any audio level. The vocals are on the next level. Be it any genre you are grooving on, the vocals are crisp like the singer is in front of you.
Trebles and instruments are great too. You will experience different instruments even if you listen to your go-to playlist. Be ready to be wowed!
We are not boasting it for the sake of saying it. It is truly remarkable. It’s the first time we have ever given full marks to any audio gear.
Even the loudness is great. Be it at any volume you are grooving on, you will not find a single sign of audio distortion or audio breaking unless you are listening to lower codec music! Personally speaking, listening to max volume is tough on this one!
With the Hey Melody app on your Android device, you can select between 3 predefined EQs or create a custom one. Though we did make a few changes, but kept on going to the default mode, it’s perfectly tuned for bass heads.
If you enjoy music, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R is the one to grab. Here’s 10/10 for audio quality.
Mic Quality (8/10)
OnePlus Nord Buds 2R offers a quad mic setup, meaning each bud has two mics instead of one. So does this help? On top of it, OnePlus has used ENX technology to cut ambient noise around you. So, how true are these claims?
After taking 100s of calls over a month, it’s good, not great! It is as good as any earbud with ENC, but the output is decent next to ANC earbuds. Indoors, the calls are better. Due to less movement, the mic picks up your voice clearly, and the job gets done.
Outdoors, the mics were able to cut out the great ambient noise. However, the final output is way too processed for my liking. What does this mean? To cut the ambient noise, the earbuds edit your voice so that the output does not have noise in the background.
In other words, call quality lacks sharpness; instead, bass is added. So, for call quality, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R is good as many earbuds with ENC are, but if calling is your top priority, then the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 (Review soon) needs your attention.
Battery Backup (9/10)
As per paper specs, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R can be used for up to 38 hours and up to 8 hours on constant use. Similarly, the carry offers 480 mAh while the buds have 36 mAh each.
So what kind of battery backup can you expect? Well, it’s great and you will not have battery anxiety! Let’s talk numbers.
If you crank up the full volume and use the buds for 3 to 4 hours, you can expect about 1.5 weeks of battery backup! We tried to hit 6 to 7 hours of battery backup on every use and that’s possible if you lower the volume to 60 to 70% volume. Even then, you can hit more than a week’s battery backup.
As far as charging goes, it supports fast charging too. With a 20-watt charger, these get fully charged in under 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Hence, for battery backup and charging, it will not disappoint! Here’s 9/10 to OnePlus Nord Buds 2R!
OnePlus Nord Buds 2R Review: Gaming Performance
Wireless earbuds or headphones are criticized for bad gaming output due to the latency. If you don’t know, it’s the delay between the sync of audio and video during video playback or even gaming.
On some earbuds, it’s more noticeable, while others handle it quite well. Some brands mention their latency in ms which is milliseconds. The lower the number, the better the latency will be, thus better gaming. But this is not right all the time.
We’ve tested a few “gaming tws” and frankly speaking, they were just marketing and no show. So don’t just go behind the number and make your call. Always check detailed reviews like those at PadhkeDekho!
Where do the OnePlus Nord Buds stand for gaming?
The latency is quite low, though not mentioned by OnePlus, so with our experience, it’s anywhere between 40 to 50ms. We did not feel lag during 4K content screening, hardcore gaming sessions, and video calling. The devices used were the iPhone 13, iPhone 15, and Moto Edge 40.
Overall, gaming performance is good. To enhance it, the Hey Melody app offers a dedicated gaming mode that adds more performance, say about 20 to 30% on your Android phone. Since iPhones don’t support the Hey Melody app still the gaming performance is still good. Be ready to experience lag-free gaming.
Out of 10, we will give the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R 9/10.
Should You Buy OnePlus Nord Buds 2R?
If you are looking for the best-sounding tws earbuds under 2000 Rs that pack good features, build quality, looks, comfort, call quality, and battery backup, then you are making the right choice! It’s a perfect value TWS with no major cons. We recommend the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R.
That’s not all, the gaming performance is quite good too, even without turning on the gaming mode. You can play any sort of game without much latency.
Overall, it’s a no-brainer choice and ticks marks most of the users out there. However, there are only two things that you should know.
If you have an iPhone, you will be able to use it; however, the Hey Melody app does not pair with the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R, and the second is the dual device connection.
It connects to “two devices” but does not “stay active” on both. The movement you switch to the other device, it gets disconnected from the first one. Which does not solve the purpose that I was looking for.
The next best alternative is OnePlus Nord Buds 3 (Review). It covers up all the shortcomings of Nord Buds 2R and adds ANC along with volume controls!
So these are the reasons why you should buy the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R and avoid them. I hope you have found this OnePlus Nord Buds 2R review helpful. Please share it with others looking for a great TWS under 2000 Rs!
That’s a Wrap!

- Amkette Ergo View Laptop Stand Review! Justifies the Price?if you spend more than 3 hours looking down at your laptop screen every day then the odds of neck pain or Cervical Spondylosis are very high. Though it is not life-threatening it’s painful and hampers the work routine. Since work requires your time you can always check out some alternatives to make your life easier. One such product is a laptop stand. As the name implies, a laptop stand holds the laptop at a tilted angle at a height which ultimately helps you with your seating posture. Here’s a little demo that can help you understand the concept. A while ago we bought a budget STRIFF laptop stand (Review) that cost half the price! It’s been a good purchase but we were willing to buy a good quality laptop stand. And here’s Amkette Ergo View that we’ve been using for over 3 months and here’s our Amkette Ergo View Laptop stand review! Here we will tell you about the unboxing experience, built quality, looks, features, usability, and finally our verdict. Since we’ve used around 5 laptop stands, below are some recommendations as well. So with that said, welcome to PadhkeDekho. Here, we provide customer-centric reviews of tech products and accessories upon using them for at least a month. It gives readers like you insights that help in decision-making. Since we are supported by readers like you. Buying anything using the Amazon links on this page will help us earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This however does not affect our feedback regarding a product. So let’s start the Amkette Ergo View laptop stand review with Pros and cons Box Contents/Unboxing Experience We’ve bought 5 laptop stands so far and all come with just the brand’s cardboard box. This raises a few concerns as sometimes the plastic on the laptop stands breaks. This happened with our STRIFF laptop stand that we mentioned in the review. We were quite skeptical until we got our unit and unboxed it. The plastic taping was untempered and the box felt fresh like a new box. Thanks to the bubble wrap the laptop stand was not broken or damaged. Our parcel came from Tamil Naidu (South India) to Dehradun (North India)! In the box, you get a laptop stand wrapped in bubble wrap and an angle adjustment guide. Bubble wrap was a nice touch. While many laptop stands come with a plastic wrapper. Good job there, Amkeete. So our unboxing experience was good. 5/5. Though we wished Amazon box could’ve been there. Built Quality (10/10) The overall build of the Amkette Ergo View laptop is plastic, which is a good one. There are no uneven edges or sharp corners that can discomfort you. Attention to detail is given around the corners, front, and bottom. The height adjuster is pure metal and feels strong when adjusted. It’s rigid and the laptop does not lose grip. As far as rubber grips go you get plenty of those; 4 on the surface where you will put the laptop, 2 near the trackpad, and 4 on the bottom where the laptop stand will rest. Note: Do remove the plastic wrapping otherwise your laptop can slip. So, are the rubber grips work or are they just for show? Well, they are solid. We’ve talked more about those in the user experience section below Hence for the built, the Amkette Ergo View laptop stand gets full marks; 10/10! Looks Unlike many laptop stands, that just come in one color; Amkeete Ergo View comes in two color options; Grey and the other one is Black. We bought it in Grey color since it adds dual color combinations as the height adjuster is Black. So how does it look? Well, it looks top-class for sure. From an angle, it speaks quality. The detail in everything is quite visible. Even the color remains the same even on the bottom where many laptops stand cut corners with a lighter color bottom. This color goes very well with Dark Grey, Black, and Silver laptops. Hence for looks, Amkeete has done a good job. I honestly do not like laptop stands where brand name stricks as the first thing. Though Amkeete has also given their logo it hides when you put the laptop on top. Therefore, for looks, the Amkeete Ergo View laptop stand gets an 8.5/10. Features 1: One Size Fits All! Thanks to the design, this Amkeete laptop stand can hold any laptop you have. Be it a 10-inch notebook, 13-inch Macbook, 14-inch Dell Vostro, or a full-size 15.6-inch laptop. This laptop stand will grip it like a baby and not let it fall. 2: Heat Dispersement: Amkeete has done something clever here. Instead of giving a full plastic base, they added big cutouts that help in heat dispersing. Sure it’s not like the cooling laptop stands that you buy for the same price, but it’s still better in context to not using a laptop stand. 3: 7 Level of Adjustments: That’s the point you will buy this laptop stand. It offers 7 height adjustments that come in handy when you have multiple tables or no tables at all to work on! The maximum and minimum angles are decently set using the metal adjuster on the back. 4: Non-Skid Design: Many laptop stands are good but lack good quality rubber skids. Not only on the surface below the laptop but also on the bottom of the laptop stand. Amkeete Agro View laptop stand had a total of 5 non-skid rubber stoppers below the laptop. 2 skid plates near the trackpad and 4 on the bottom. This ensures an amazing grip on wood/Plywood(non-glossy) tables and even glass tables. 5: No Scope of Sctraches: We’ve used a few metal laptop stands that leave scratches on the back, bottom, and around the trackpad area. That’s certainly you will not wish for your new laptop! That’s why we went with the Amkette laptop stand. The edges are smooth, the rubber grips quite well and the back panel has 5 rubber grips that work as raisers too. So the laptop surface does not get scratched. Hence for features, Amkeete Argo Laptop Stand gets a 9/10. User Experience It’s been over a month of daily testing on the Amkeete Ergo View laptop stand and so far it’s been worth the price. Let’s first talk about portability. the laptop stand is compact and can quickly be taken in a bag-pack along with your laptop. We have tested in three different bags and we faced no issues. The laptop stand has a 7-level adjustment. We measured the minimum height as well as the maximum height along with their angles so that you can have a better idea. The minimum height is 2.5 inches and it goes to 5.5 inches. Hence, you can choose the height and angle as per your comfort. While there are laptop stands that offer more height typing on these or using the trackpad becomes an issue. In those cases buying a separate keyboard and mouse will be essential. Since the Anti-skid rubber stoppers are raised and grip any surface quite easily, we did not have any issues with a big gaming mouse pad, Glass tables, Wood tables, and even bed tables which are generally plywood tables. So, you can trust the Amkeete laptop stand with your expensive laptop. The angle adjuster is metal which gives more confidence. It snugs in all the cutouts quite easily and stands firmly. We tried the lowest angle with a heavy Dell laptop and the laptop stand did not collapse or get stressed. Many budget laptop stands wobble when you type on them. Whereas on Amkette the wobble is quite less. if you are a hard hitter then you should use a keyword and a mouse. Even if you type softly, it’s better to buy an additional keyboard and mouse because there will be a tilt angle and it can cause some pain after prolonged hours of use. One more thing to talk about here is the heat dispersion. Since the elevation is quite good and then there are big cutouts on the laptop stand that help to cool down the laptop naturally. This will not only help to cool down your laptop but also help to improve your laptop overall life as heat is the biggest enemy of tech gadgets. So far our user experience is quite good. The only thing missing on the Amkette Argo laptop stand is the phone/tablet holder. Though it’s not a deal breaker it certainly helps to keep devices aligned and the table looks clean. So Should You Buy an Amkette Ergo View Laptop Stand? Alternatives? Amkette Ergo View laptop stand is a good option under 1000 Rs. If you are looking for a premium good quality product that offers soft edges and speaks quality then it’s worth it product. Unlike other laptop stands, it comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty which can come in handy if something goes wrong. Thanks to the metal height adjuster, it takes the overall visual look and practicality to the next level. While adjusting the angle you will feel confident putting your expensive laptop on top of it. As for looks, the Egro View laptop stand comes in two color options. Which gives options. So is this the best laptop stand under 1000 Rs? Well, it’s certainly a worthy option under 1000 Rs. Though the price could’ve been better. Don’t get us wrong, the build is good, the metal adjuster inspires confidence, and the grip is quite good laptop stand does not lose grip. But this is also true that you can get an air-cooled laptop stand with LED lights/Fans for a similar price. if you prefer an air-cooled laptop stand or a laptop stand with a fan you can check out the Zinq Cool Slate Dual Fan Cooling Fan (Review soon). With everything in mind, the Amkette Ergo View laptop stand gets our approval as a good quality laptop stand that’s travel-friendly and inspires confidence. You can certainly check it out. - Hammer Bash Max Review | The Best headphone Under 2500 Rs?If you are looking for comfortable over-ear headphones that you can wear for long hours, this is the one to buy! Other than comfort, the looks are quite spectacular too! What about other things? Well, here’s the Hammer Bash Max Review after 7 months of use! It packs everything a headphone around 2.5k should have like; USB-C Charging, Mostly fabric body, premium looks, Dual Bluetooth connection, etc. But still, there are many things that we experienced in the past 4 months. So let’s talk about that. If you are new to PadhkeDekho, we use a product for a month before publishing our statistics. All the testing was done indoors, outdoors, during transit, and in all the other places where users use headphones so that our readers get the best information. In this Hammer Bash Max review, you will learn about the Pros and cons, Specs, Unboxing experience, Built Quality, Looks, Comfort, Features, Audio Quality, Mic Quality, Battery Backup, and finally, our verdict on whether you should buy it or not. With that said, let’s begin the Hammer headphone review with pros and cons. Hammer Bash Max Specifications Feature Value Bluetooth Version 5.3 Dual Bluetooth Conneciton Yes Tiltable/Foldable Yes/No Audio Drivers (MM) 40 Frequency Range 2.402 GHz – 2.480 GHz Battery mAh 3.7v, 500 Charging Voltage 5V/1A Media Controls Touch Panel on Right Earcup Color Options 3 Check More Specs on Amazon Built Quality (10/10) The moment you hold the headphones, it’s all cloth & soft fabric on your fingertips. Be it the headband or earcups you will feel like it’s a premium product. Other than fabric, you will feel some plastic for headband adjusters & tilt mechanism. The adjusters have a common slid-in and-out design with 8 levels of adjustments. So far the headband adjusters work fine and there’s no squeaking or panel plastic noise. Just below the headband, you will see the tiltable earcups. Thanks to the design, you can flat out the earcups and rest them on the neck or in the backpack when traveling. On the right ear cup, you will see the touch controls & single button to control media or accept or end the call. It’s quite a neat headphone. What about durability? This headphone has visited the gym a few times, jogging sessions, late-night movie marathons, ruff handling, etc. and it’s in implacable condition. Sure, we will test it more and keep updating the article as time passes. So at the moment, the built quality is quite good and Hammer Bash Max gets a 9/10 in this department. Looks (10/10) Hands down, Hammer Bash Max is the best-looking headphone under 3000 Rs. Starting from the ear cups the headband design is very futuristic. The fabric on the headband (the top and bottom offer different designs) makes it look very premium. It shows attention to detail. The ear cup fabric speaks of quality. It is a soft and breathable material that snugs so well that you will not wish to remove it even after long sessions. We’ve talked more about it in the Comfort section. We bought Cool Grey color and the overall color scheme feels like a 5000 Rs headphones. It also comes in Apricot and Black color as well. Hammer has not offered any color combination, it’s pure single color but the plastic and fabric combination gives it a remarkable presence. I liked the “fake leather” treatment on the earcups fabric Hammer Bash Max looks great so here’s 5/5 for that! Comfort & Grip (9/10) When it comes to comfort nothing beats Over-Ear headphones. This statement is true for Hammer Bash Max as well. The ear cup padding is very soft, the fabric on the headband generates a firm grip and the best part is the clamping force, It is so firm that the headphones rest around the ears with utmost comfort. Since the earcups have tiltablity, you will find your sweet spot the moment you wear these. Hammer Bash Max is a very comfortable headphone that you can easily wear for 4+ hours. So if you are looking for an over-ear headphone that you can wear for long hours without a single minute of discomfort, this is the one to get. What about workouts or gym use? You can wear it to the gym. The clamping force is high and the headphones stay on even during high-intensity movements. I do a lot of cardio activities and it did not fall even once. It’s a different breed of over-ear headphones that check marks for comfort & grip during workouts. So, Hammer Bash Max gets a solid 9/10 for comfort & workout-centric nature. Features (9/10) #1 Dual Bluetooth Connection: Hammer Bash Max can be paired to two devices simultaneously. This is a great feature if you switch between two devices quite often. So, you are watching a movie on your laptop and get a call on your phone. You can accept it and take the call via the headphones. #2 Touch Controls: Usually headphones have physical buttons to increase/decrease the volume, move to the next track, or repeat. But Hammer added touch controls to this headphone and things are working quite well. You will need to spend some time before getting used to it. But before that please remove the sticker for an even better response. #3 Full-Tiltable Headphone: The headband allows 90-degree revolvable ear cups. As a result, you can tilt the earcups completely 90 degrees and lay the headphones straight in your bag pack. This helps in better space management during travel. Also, it will enhance comfort if you keep the headphones on your neck during travels. #4 Bluetooth 5.3: Under 3000 Rs many headphones offer Bluetooth 5.0. But the latest version is 5.3 and that’s what Hammer offered. We are not saying 5.0 is bad, but we have experienced better reception with a higher Bluetooth version of audio gear. As a result, we did not face audio breaking or disturbance even when the paired device was about 5 to 6 meters away in the bag while I was working out. #5 IPX3 Water Resistance: When a headphone can be used in a gym or for jogging some amount of water resistance is a must. Because water can cause damage in the long run with the Hammer Bash Max, you get IPX3 water resistance that will allow you to focus more on the workout than the water damage! Audio Quality (8/10) This is the first time we’ve tried Hammer headphones and it is good. Hammer Bash Max comes with a 40mm audio driver. As you know, we never boast an audio gear with the driver size as it is just marketing. What matters is how good the quality of the driver is. Let’s talk about that. The very first thing you will notice is the distortion-free sound signature. Yes, we’ve tested a variety of songs, podcasts, media content, etc, and nothing baffled the audio drivers. Kudos to Hammer for that. The overall audio quality is crisp and full of detail. The vocals, instruments, and trebles are the strong suit. The bass is decent, certainly not a bass-heavy headphone. You will enjoy media consumption or listening to music. Though the sound signature is good we felt the loudness could’ve been better. if you are coming from Infinity or BoAt headphones you will feel the volume is around 80%. This is not bad! Because it makes Hammer Bash Max a headphone with no audio leak you can wear it anywhere without worrying what people will “think” about what you are listing. We had never been so confident about headphones in the outdoors. So to sum up, the overall audio quality is quite good with plenty of details in vocals, instruments, and even trebles but the bass is decent not the best. Score Card Value Vocals 9.5/10 Treble 9/10 Bass 7.5/10 Overall Loudness 8/10 Overall Clarity 9/10 Best Buy Link Amazon Therefore, Hammer Bash Max gets 8/10. Call/Mic Quality (8.5/10) Most headphones offer a microphone but only a few are good for taking calls and Hammer Bash Max is on it! Though there’s only a single microphone on the right earcup it picks up voice quite clearly. There will be no complaints of static disturbance or low volume from the other person on the call. Moreover, the mic is so responsive it picks up your voice even if you whisper. Since there’s no ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) mic picks ambient noise. Hence, if you have a lot of disturbance or people talking loudly in your proximity it will be transferred as is. During our testing of the mic indoors as well as outdoors, we found it quite good and did not have a single network disturbance or interference. So for calling, Hammer Bash Max gets an 8.5/10. Battery Backup & Charging (8/10) Over-ear headphones are known for their battery backup and Hammer Bash Max is no expectation either! It packs in a 500 mAh battery and can provide juice for about 18 hours. So, what are the real-world figures? You can expect anywhere between 12 to 15 hours even with Dual Bluetooth Connected Devices and max volume. If you use headphones for 2 hours a day, expect a little over 1 week. Everyone has a different listing pattern so can’t predict an “exact” number, however, if you prefer to listen to music at around 60 to 80% volume, then you will move closer to the claimed figures. In terms of battery backup, you will not be disappointed. However, you should also know that there’s no provision for aux-in. This means you will not be able to use this headphone as a wired headphone. This can be a deal breaker for many, so choose accordingly. So with lightweight, we have no issues with the battery backup. Thus, Hammer Bash Max gets 8/10. What About Charging? Hammer Bash Max comes with a USB-C cable and supports fast charging too. Though, that’s not mentioned anywhere on the website. On the user manual, it says to use 5V/1A voltage. I guess using a higher-powered charge can damage the battery. However, for the past 4 months we have been using a 20-watt charger, it reached from 10 to 100% in 2 hours and 10 mins. You can get even better results with 40 or 60-watt chargers. Do not worry it will not damage the headphones. New chargers are smart they “only” send “current” the headphone or audio gear can handle. if you are a casual user who uses headphones for 2 to 3 hours a day, you will be fine for a week. So we do not mind the battery backup. There could have been an aux-in mode. Should You Buy Hammer Bash Max? Yes, if you are looking for a comfortable headphone. Other reasons to buy it are the premium built quality, best in-hand feel, workout friendly, good mic for calling, overall good audio quality, dual Bluetooth connection, and more than a week’s battery backup! Why you should not buy Hammer Bash Max? There’s some latency during gaming and the lack of “aux-in” does pinch being a gamer. Another reason is bass. It’s decent but certainly not a bass-heavy headphone as the brand claims. As far as warranty goes, Hammer gives only 6 months of warranty which you should also know. With all the pros and cons, we think Hammer Bash Max is a good headphone for the price especially since the build/feel are the biggest highlight. In this BoAt Airdopes 141 English review, you will find about the Pros and Cons, Box Contents, Built Quality, Looks, Comfort, Features, Audio Quality, Gaming Experience, Mic Quality, Battery Backup, and our Verdict on whether you should buy this or our other recommendations. Let’s kick things off with the pros and cons. BoAt Airdopes 141 Pros & Cons Box Contents In the tiny box, you’ll get many things. Let’s start from left to right. If you have been using a half-ear design TWS then the silicon tips will be a new thing. Rest, all the Airdopes launched after 2022 come with these contents (excluding ear tips if half-ear design TWS is bought). Inbox Contents: 5/5 Built Quality We’ve tested many BoAt Airdopes and some had weak hinges. The ones above 2000 Rs had great built overall. BoAt worked upon and BoAt Airdopes 141 is a fine example. On sale, you can grab this for just 999 making it a banger at that price. Even at 1500 (non-sale price) it is good for the build it offers. The case is not flimsy which means no squeaking while pressing. The magnetic connectors on the lip are quite impressive. With a little push, the lip opens and then shuts with a satisfying click. This click ensures good-quality hinges and more capable magnetic connectors. On the same note, the earbuds offer fine-built quality while being lightweight compared to other brands’ TWS for similar prices which is good for people who demand comfort. Here’s more about that in the comfort section below. So the buds are the best in terms of the build? No, they are not the best but surely not the bad either. Next to the carry case, they feel weak. Maybe because of the lightweight? On the subject of built quality, the cable provided is good too. It has BoAt branding. It’s great they did not pack any random cable from the market and called it a day. So in terms of built quality BoAt Airdopes 141 gets an 8.5/10. Looks In terms of looks, BoAt Airdopes 141 has a matte design language. We picked up the white color and it looks fabulous. Be it the case or the earbuds themselves. The case has a square design which helps to keep the case the way you like it! On the front, you have four LEDs for the current battery status of the carry case along with the BoAt branding. Then you have nothing, except the USB C charging port on the bottom. Therefore, in terms of case design, it’s simple and offers no visible branding which is perfect; Just a BoAt Logo above the battery LEDs. In the same way, you have earbuds with a BoAt logo and fingerprint impressions to let you know it offers touch controls rather than a physical button. The ear tips silicon will be Grey, Cyan Cider, or Black depending upon the case color you will buy. BoAt Airdopes 141 best color? It looks great in all colors but Black or White outshines! You can even customize it by purchasing skins! So in terms of looks, BoAt Airdopes 141 is a simple yet premium-looking TWS under 1500 Rs. Comfort The earbuds are meant for people with medium to large ears. if you have small ears, you can check out Mivi DuoPods A350 (review), or here are more earbuds options for people with small ears. How long can I wear BoAt Airdopes 141? Is it comfortable to watch a movie? Yes, BoAt Airdopes 141 is very comfortable and can be easily worn for 5 hours of a single stretch. The silicon tips are very soft and the overall earbud design is meant to offer good grip. if you need a tws for a slight workout like jogging, walking, or slight cardio then you can go with Airdopes 141. IPX4 is there to rescue you! Hence in terms of Comfort BoAt Airdopes 141 gets a solid 9/10. BoAt Airdopes 141 Features The biggest USP of BoAt Aitdopes 141 is the Beast mode which drops the latency up to 80ms which helps in better gaming. So for gamers, it gets a major tick. Does it work? Head over to the gaming test below. For entertainment and media consumption needs, BoAt Airdopes 141 comes with 8mm audio drivers that can take care of your audio needs. How well does it sound? Here’s our audio test! What about calling? Don’t worry! BoAt has ENx technology for better calling or mic audio recording. How good is the mic of Airdopes 141? Here’s our mic test. The earbuds have silicon tips which make them very comfortable & snug fit. You can wear these to the gym or running or jogging. As sweat will be prominent during workouts, BoAt Airdopes 141’s IPX4 water resistance will take care of it. One thing to add here is the touch controls work even if your fingers are wet or it’s raining. For the battery-conscious buyers, rejoice! The Airdopes 141 can provide your power backup for about 42 hours. Additionally, it supports fast charging too! 10 minutes of charge can get you about an hour of audio playback. How’s the battery backup on BoAt Airdopes 141? Here’s our battery test after 8 months of use. One more thing, the predefined alert sound of turning on, turning off, connecting, disconnecting, and the voice assistant is minimal which is certainly not an intrusion when you are connected. For the features, BoAt Airdopes are good but most of them miss one feature that’s available on Mivi and Noise earbuds, and that’s volume controls. BoAt Airdopes 141 Audio quality While testing audio gear, I wait till I can get my hands on BoAt products. It’s because of their sound signature. It’s nothing out of the world but the tuning is perfect. Airdopes 141 offers bass-heavy frequency, clear vocals, and decent treble with ample loudness. if you listen to Punjabi songs and the bass gets your adrenaline pumping, nothing will come close to Airdopes 141. Any bass-heavy song will hit differently on BoAt Airdopes 141. This reminds me of the OnePlus Buds Z which got stolen in the Metro. if the bass is not your thing, you will fall in love with the vocals and instrument separation on these. At any volume, you will not find any audio distortion. This is a big step up from BoAt Airdopes 161. You will have a great time listening to music or watching movies. It’s the most balanced TWS we’ve tested so far. So coming straight back to the audio quality of BoAt Airdopes 141, the 8mm drivers do their magic of being a strong bass-heavy option in this price range of about 1500 Rs. Like more bass? check out BoAt Airdopes 170. Gaming Performance When it comes to gaming, I always prefer wired headphones simply because of less latency. if you don’t know latency is a delay of audio & video synchronization. When you are playing any fast-paced game like Call of Duty Mobile, etc. the video and audio will not sync properly as a result gunshots will be delayed for a few milliseconds. Not just that, footsteps, changing gun noise, switching between sprinting and walking. So the overall experience hampers a lot. Users like that you can’t change it. So getting audio gear that the brand recommends for gaming should be considered. Since Airdopes 141 comes with Beast Mode, is BoAt Airdopes 141 good for gaming? Yes, BoAt Airdopes 141 is good for gaming thanks to the Beast Mode. It helps reduce the latency up to 80ms making the overall experience enjoyable. Even if you do not enable the Beast made the latency is quite low and can be used to play gamers. So BoAt worked on the gaming which BoAt lacked a while ago. Therefore for gaming, we would give it 8/10. Mic Test We’ve always had mixed feelings about the mics on BoAt Airdopes. Recently, we covered the best BoAt Airdopes you can buy and talked about this. The thing is, not all BoAt Airdopes have good microphones. Out of 10, we found only a few that can be used for calling. So what about BoAt Airdopes 141 mic quality? Well, it’s great for the price. BoAt has offered ENx technology that helps in reducing background noise. This is fine but the output is 100% dependent on how well the mic picks up your voice. My only complaint with BoAt is the customization of my voice as robotic. The good news is BoAt Airdopes 141 does not change to vocals. It picks up the voice quite clearly. The second good thing is if there is so much happening around you i.e. Metro announcements, people chatting nearby, or TV being close to you will be filtered out. Surely not 100% but on a scale of 10 where 10 is no change BoAt Airdopes 141 is about 4. So BoAt Airdopes 141 gets our recommendation and you can confidently use these for personal or professional calls. Battery Backup When it comes to BoAt Airdopes battery is never an issue. So what kind of battery backup is expected? Let’s have a look at different scenarios. If you are a gamer who will constantly be using the Beast mode and plan to play games for 3 to 4 hours then yes you can grab BoAt Airdopes 141. And if you do not game and listen to music for about 2 hours a day it will easily hit 2 weeks or even more. One of my colleagues uses his Airdopes 141 for 2 hours at 60 percent volume claiming battery backup of a month! So the battery backup is entirely dependent on your usage. Since I am a moderate user who plays games for about 2 hours and listens to music for 2 to 3 hours a day at max volume and Instagram Reels for about 1 hour, I can use these buds for over a week. So in terms of battery backup, you can expect the least for about 4 hours on a single go with hardcore gaming. Only listening can get you anywhere around 6 hours. In this 1 month of testing, I’ve had no complaints about the battery backup. What about charging? BoAt Airdopes 141 supports fast charging and the case gets charged in around 1 hour depending upon the charger. With the OnePlus Dash charger, I got the result. And if you’ll use 20 watts or nearby wattage you can expect it around 1 to 2 hours. On the other hand, the earbuds with just 10 minutes in the carry case can get you power for an hour! BoAt Airdopes 141 is for people with battery backup in mind. Hence 9/10. Airdopes 141 Good or Bad? In one statement, it’s the most perfect TWS we’ve tested this year @ 1500 Rs. Be it build, look and feel, features, audio quality, gaming latency, mic for calling, and battery backup, it has everything great for the price. About the price, you can grab BoAt Airdopes 141 from anywhere from 999 to 1499. Which is a wide bracket but the Airdopes 141 deserve the price. In my 11 months of using it, I found only one con which is the build of the earbuds. Though they are comfortable and lightweight and maybe because of that, they feel a little weak next to the Mivi DuoPods A550. So if you like lightweight earbuds you have no con with these Airdopes. Hence should you buy BoAt Airdopes 141? Certainly! It’s a great TWS under 1500 that you can buy. We tested more than 20 TWS from BoAt and even from brands like Mivi, Noise, & Boult. BoAt Airdopes 141 is certainly a killer earbud under 2000. if you don’t like earbuds with silicon ear tips you can select Mivi DuoPods A350 (review). Wrapping up There you have it, folks!
