Both neckbands come with 2 additional pairs of ear tips that can help you find the perfect spot. Also, you can remove the ear hooks as per your liking. Note: if you’ll remove the ear hooks you will certainly lose most of the grip during workouts.

it’s the Infinity Glide 120 that feels more comfortable. Since the earbuds are compact and the ear hooks are small you can easily wear these. And if you happen to have small ears then look no further and pick up Infinity Glide 120.

Well, it’s quite comfortable for people with medium to large ears. I prefer Rockerz 255 Pro+ as I can easily wear it for many hours. It’s my daily go-to while traveling.

However other team members do not find these as comfortable as Glide 120. So if you have small ears you can go with Infinity Glide 120.

Both neckbands are “neck-to-neck” when it comes to features. It’s known that BoAt gives the best features but Infinity has done some serious work here. Let’s talk about similarities first.

You will experience good Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, dual Bluetooth pairing, magnetic earbuds connectors, voice assistant support, media controls, flexible neckband, etc. So pretty much both are quite similar till this point.

But here comes the massive feature difference.

Infinity Glide 120 comes with Dual EQ modes; one for normal bass & second for deep bass. And above all, it comes with 12mm drivers whereas BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+ comes with 10.

As far as BoAt is concerned it comes with a massive 300 mAh battery that can last up to 40 hours while Infinity claims for just 7 hours, supports fast charging, and the icing on the cake is the IPX7 water resistance. Whereas, Ininity comes with IPX4.

Hence for features, both are great and truly worth the price. So in this context, we are giving BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+ & Infinity Glide 120, 8.5/10.

Audio Quality

Ultimately, you are buying audio gear for your media needs. So let’s talk about that. Infinity Glide 120 offers a 12mm audio driver while BoAt gives 10mm. Hence, on paper, Infinity seems better. But is it different? Yes, it is! Especially in the Bass Boosted mode.

Let’s talk about the good things about these audio gears.

The overall sound signature is bass-heavy on both, vocals are clear, and lows and mids are the strong suits. You will not experience any audio distortion even at max volume. Also, the loudness is very close.

Ultimately you will enjoy the music and groove to your favorite playlist on any neckband.

Unlike BoAt, Infinity comes with Dual EQ modes; 1 is for normal bass while the other is bass-boosted. The normal bass EQ is at par with BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+. But the bass boosted is a PURE GOLD!

You can feel the thump in your ear canal, overall loudness gets about 30% louder than BoAt. Also, the level of detail gets better on the Bass Bosted mode.

So, if you are a bass-head who prefers multiple EQ modes and an overall louder experience then you can opt for Infinity Glide 120. BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+ is also good but the 10mm drivers do not do justice to its top-end performance and overall loudness.

Over the last 3 years, We have seen quite an improvement in BoAt audio gears be it headphones, earbuds, or neckbands. While BoAt was improving Infinity was fine-tuning things! This statement holds with Infinity Glide 120 as well.

The call quality via Glide 120 is a steller indoors or outdoors. As there is no Environmental Noise cancellation the ambient sound will be transmitted but your vocals will sound just like your phone’s mic. Moreover, in your testing, we did not find the other caller complaining about audio breaking or less audio.

BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+ the transmitted voice is also free of static or disturbance and gets our approval too. But the voice feels a little distant from the microphone. Hence, you will be required to speak a little louder.

For calling, we gave 9/10 to Infinity Glide 120 & 8/10 to BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+.

Battery Backup & Charging

if you get battery anxiety you can kill that thought by upgrading to BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+. As per BoAt, the claimed figures of about 40 hours at 50% volume are way more than the claimed values of Infinity Glide 120’s 7-hour battery backup.

Let’s talk about claimed figures and real figures, shall we?

If you enjoy music at max volume, you can go nearly 20 hours of playback with BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+. Using lower volumes can get you more battery hours. At 50% volume, we got around 23 to 24 hours combined hours.

Whereas Infinity Glide’s 120 claimed figures are wrong! As per the brand, the neckband can be used for a maximum of 7 hours but we got 7 hours on max volume. At 50 percent volume, you can expect about 10 hours of backup.

So always read detailed comparisons after use. It’s always better than a “tech sheet” comparison!

BoAt you can expect about 3 times the battery backup than the Glide 120. Which is a massive upgrade.

What about charging and quick charge?

BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+ supports fast charging and also quick charge. The neckband supports up to 5 Watt 2 Amps charger. So the 300 mAh battery will be fully charged in under 1 Hour and 30 mins.

And when you are low on battery and need immediate music push you can get that for an hour with just 10 mins of charging.

Infinity Glide 120’s “120 mAh battery” charges up fully in 1 Hour and 30 mins. Though it does not say about the quick charge you can get about an hour of battery backup with 10 minutes of charging.

For battery backup and charging, We prefer BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+ with 9/10 and Infinity Glide 120 with 7.5/10.

The Battery Glitch on Infinity Glide 120

You will notice very little to no drop after hours of use. But the moment it drops under 50 percent within 1 hour it will be out of battery.

We thought it was an issue with our unit. But we picked up another unit and it was also the same. Then we talked to a few owners and about 30 percent of people said the same thing.

So what does that mean?

It does not mean the whole lineup of Infinity Glide 120 is faulty. When it shows 50 percent left it’s around 20%. Hence, put it to charge at or around 50%. Not a big issue but do keep that in mind.

After using both neckbands for about 3 months, we believe these are certainly good neckbands for the price. Built quality, looks, grip, comfort, features, audio quality, battery backup, or even mic quality, these two are the best choices.

But some things make BoAt a better proposition and in many Infinity Glide takes the lead. Let’s sum up the use case scenarios so that you can pick one that suits your needs.
